both exclusive to PS3/Vita (X and X-2 HD that is)

^ I assume you're talking not only about X/X2 Remastered but the other FF game announced today. We don't have a concrete release date for the one game, but it's been known for several months that the PS3 version of X/X2 Remastered will be released on December 31st (New Year's Eve) in the US.

yes I am. X/X-2 HD is NOT coming out December 31st. Thats a place holder date and a very common one at that.

Yes, VS is now XV. XIV is PS3/PS4/PC. XV is PS4/X1. KH3 is PS4/X1

Final Fantasy XV I have heard so much about this game and the thing interests me about it that is not turned based

I'm not a fan of this series the only Final Fantasy I played and I finished it was Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus

Amazon.com also has the PS4's release date as being Dec 31 if you honestly believe Sony will launch their console a week AFTER Christmas.

How long have you followed video game release dates? I can't believe you still honestly believe New Years Eve is a real date for when this game is coming out. A retailer needs 2 things in order to process a preorder in their system, price and date. Dec 31st is a standard place holder date when the publisher has not provided an actual one

big mistake if true. Why would SE release it so close to GTA V? Do they honestly think they can take on that behemoth of a title? Oh well looks like I most likely wont touch FF X till maybe Dec/Jan

Got an invite too. I'm downloading the PC client right now. Tried to download the PS3 client before that, but the servers wouldn't respond.

Man, I think the graphics for FFXIV are going to look dated fast. Really wish Square would try something more stylized and unique.

I'm still playing Final Fantasy Dimensions on my phone! In the middle of Chapter 2. Just got beat by a boss who casts Haste on himself everytime I cast Slow on him. Boo.

They should keep the MMOs & the regular campaign RPG games separate IMO.

A part of me died when FFXI was a MMO. It should have just been called Final Fantasy Online. Then they started mucking up Dragon Quest with Dragon Quest IX with online multiplayer features and then Dragon Quest X was an MMO. My level of franchise care dropped a lot.

And if they didn't want to call it Online, they could have given it a subtitle. Like 'Final Fantasy: Tales of Vana'diel'. It's just annoying to have a numbered title missing in your collection, if you don't want to play online.
