I cant get into those boxes... i feel like id have to open a comic store of pure randomness... i usually have no use for 80% of what comes in those boxes

hahaha Lily's is hilarious!!! lol

Yes because because trying to fling Ant-Man off would be about as useful as Yellowjacket getting hit by Thomas The Tank Engine, it probably wouldn't even phase him or cause any damage.

So Lily just said that some Ant-man comics she read are 'total crap', and says that Scott Lang, Hank Pam, and the Van Dyne's weren't even in the issues. What run would she be talking about?
She says she really wants to read the older ones but can't get her hands on them.

Probably the version with Eric O'Grady as Ant-Man and was created by Robert Kirkman and Phil Hester. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_O'Grady

Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman's Irredeemable Ant-Man series which you could probably guess wouldn't be to her taste.

David Dastmalchian who plays Scott Lang's buddy Kurt loves the new Ant-Man series by Spencer.

Guys we are supposedly expecting some reactions today right?

I'm waiting on the how it should have ended version of Ant Man, Batman, Superman, Ant Man in the Super Hero café, yes please!

Saw the latest spot.

Starting to wonder if the scene where Scott says "I'm Ant-Man/wasn't my idea" is him talking to the Avengers/an Avenger? Feige's comments from his new interview basically confirmed they'll have a presence, and that scene could match up. Really I've just put the "What, you haven't heard of me" line and Feige saying the film is about the Avengers becoming aware of Scott by the end.

Either way, I do see a scene reminiscent of that.

Well if your a Marvel fan you can't go wrong with it since it's all exclusive Marvel stuff. Plus if you don't like something you can always sell it. Lots of people do that

Ah gotcha, thanks for the info

I certainly hope so.

Man if an Avenger/Avengers show up in this I will flip, I'm going to go as Spoiler free as possible into this one, I loved AOU to death but I kinda wish I went in knowing a little less.

The Marvel Collector Corps June box is Ant-Man themed. You will get an exclusive Ant-Man Funko POP! figure, 1 of 4 exclusive Ant-Man themed shirts, as well as 2 or 3 more exclusive Marvel accessories/memorabilia. The AoU box 2 months ago was very solid and I highly recommend the service. Here is the link to sign up:

https://www.collectorcorps.com/

And if you want an idea of what to expect here is the thread about the service here on the Hype:

Guaranteed $50+ value in every box

Hey, where did you read that there's 4 themed tees? I've only seen one so far - there's 4 variants of 'something' in the box - if you've peeked at pics you'll know what they are..

Have you had any issues with your subscription yet? (I think the first time you posted about MCC is when I signed up for it - AoU box was a great start and the Ant-Man one looks great too!

Wait, they gave the cast the Eric O'Grady issues? As in the character who everyone hated and couldn't build up a fanbase and has nothing to do with the current film?

Last night saw the trailer on the big screen for the first time: it looks so good. Those macro-photography scenes are going to be something different.

No, Someone gave Evangeline Lilly some Ant-Man comics without any of the Pym's or Scott Lang in them & she thought that version was terrible, so it was assumed that she was referring to Eric O'Grady issues.

Pretty early for press screenings no? A Good sign? Well if there is embargo till the day of release maybe not lol

From what I know, reactions are allowed right now. That's a good sign IMO. If they didn't feel confident with this movie, they wouldn't let reactions out this early.

Speaking of which, a user on IMDB says he saw the film. I know I know, IMDB isn't the most reliable of sources, but his spoiler-free review is encouraging: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0478970/board/flat/245390960

The only thing he didn't like was Hope's character. But, from what I told, he's biased against Evangelline Lilly, so I wouldn't worry about that

The way it is cut in the trailer, it looks like Scott Lang is revealing himself to Darren Cross which would be a bad move on his part.
