Agreed. It really should be longer than 6 issues if they wanted such a slow burn story.

it makes me wonder what Quinones had planned with his first pitch. From the concept images alone, it looked a lot more “Burton-y” than what we got.

Fun times, fans were skeptical and yet pretty moved by the trailer showing that it was going to be more what they wanted than feared.

West's unusual characterization that Batman is both a nut but also likeable/should also be likeable was on point.

Wow that’s hard to believe. He was just at a Q&A for Batman Returns in June. RIP

So McFarlane Toys has listings for a Batwing from the Flash movie. Hopefully it's a perfect carbon copy of the original and not some ****ed redesign.

Priced at 315 dollars though. His DC action figures are quite large 7 inch figures. So I imagine this Batwing is going to be ****off huge.

Edit: I saw a picture of the toy, it looks great. Even has LED lights.

That's so cool, love that kinda stuff. Shameless self-plug and I know I've posted this here before, but I'ma just use this as an opportunity to repost a similar project I edited. Instead of the silent era, this one imagined B89 as 40s noir epic. I like to think of it as Orson Welles' Batman movie.
