Batman & Robin The Official Batman & Robin Thread - Part 1

Appreciate Arnold being so committed to the “we both fought Batman” bit with Danny DeVito that he was willing to throw hands with Keaton even when that wasn’t his Batman.
It's a multiversal muscle memory thing, like how Ock, Goblin and Electro immediately went after Tom Holland Spidey in No Way Home. :o

And I have to say... Keaton's cold stare at them kind of gave me goosebumps ahah
His Batman's energy is intact. He's still (and probably always will be) my favorite actor in this role.
How I wish he'd had been given better material when coming back under the cowl...

Further confirmation the Burton/Schumacher flicks are the same continuity, I'd say.

After the Oscars skit, I now wish to see a comic that reintegrates the Burton and Schumacher movies and sees Freeze and the Penguin try to take down Keaton's Batman, continuity be damned. After all, the two have similar interests.

If they do this, I'll be the Dune guy on twitter but for this.

Imagine if they had shown up in The Flash.

Well the Penguin did die. But though it would be hard and unlikely to be as good as then I think DeVito could still play Penguin now.

Nice that DeVito would only do it if Tim Burton did come back (even though even joking that Arnold Freeze is same version, same thing suggests, if you take it more seriously, that he doesn't/wouldn't care about details and particulars like that).

How would Clooney Batman or O'Donnell Robin react to Neeson Ra's or Murphy Scarecrow?

Late 90's, they probably would still been played over the top hyper-camp, and possibly gone with Sean Connery as Ra's, and Nick Cage as Scarecrow.:funny:

Think Connery's somewhat eccentric Ramírez/Tak-Ne,
and Cage's ougrageous Vampire Kiss persona

He would've probably played the role the same way he played the villain in The Avengers 1998 movie.

Hadn't seen it, great call though. Swapping Fiennes for (Clooney) Batman, and Connery for Ra's al Ghul (somewhat his Moriarty/eco terrorist).
Staged in some Environmental/Lazarus chamber, almost verbatim what their final battle might have looked like for the 90s.

Since Uma was already Ivy, maybe swap I don't know Juliette Binoche, Penélope Cruz, Rachel Weisz, Zeta Jones for Talia. And you have your perfect 90s retroactive Schumacher Batman sequel...

O'Neil/Adams Rise of the Demon story arc would have made the perfect vehicle.

Not me still walking down the Pop-Tart aisle 27 years after the fact and still feeling regret that I never got any of these…

Does anyone remember this Kellogg's promotion back in '97? I had fun trying to collect them all.
