I'm telling ya'll, don't be surprised if Cotto outboxes him, I think the consensus that Canelo has more advantages is false. I think Cotto is easily the better boxer, with more variety and diversity to his skill set. He could choose to fight him or box him really, but I'm excited to see it go down finally.

50/50 fight honestly. Canelo has underrated hand speed but Cotto has looked great under Roach. He looks like a completely different fighter. Granted he has only fought Delvin Rodriguez and a one legged Sergio Martinez but he still looks amazing.

I think this fight will be is about one thing. Can Cotto stay away from Canelo. He didn't have to do that with a broken down Martinez and the corpse he fought last time.

Personally, while I am a Cotto fan, I think Canelo has a real chance of just overwhelming him. Cotto at his age, with his miles, I don't think he can go a hard 12 rounds and I think that is what it would be.

Canelo can't go 12 rounds either. Dude is known to be done by the 7th round.

I think Cotto has been matched very well since he's been with Roach, and that that has played a role in his looking so spectacular as a middleweight. Make no mistake, his optimal weight is 147. Canelo is a monster, and so I expect it to be an easy night for the Mexican. Expect Golovkin vs. Alvarez to be Fight of the Year 2016.

Mosley Vs Mayorga 2 tomorrow night guy's. Do we frikin need this?

The press conference was staged like a mofo but it has people talking. This should have been on tv and not on ppv. It's going to bomb.

That Mosley/Mayorga press conference was embarrassing. I'm actually glad it is on ppv, They shouldn't be showing this garbage on regular tv.

Mares vs Santa Cruz tomorrow. That should be a good one.

I'm picking Mosley to win in 8.

Leo Santa Cruz Vs Mares tonight as well. Fancy Mares to win that.

I was surprised at how clearly Santa Cruz beat Mares. I was confident he would be exposed, but he proved me wrong.

Anthony Joshua fighting unbeaten Gary Cornish next weekend.

Ah man! I know this is kind of old but I have to post this here. I don't know Wlad just want fight this dude. It's funny but kind of sad at the same time. #letsgochamp!

its hilarious and Wlad won't fight him cause I truly believe he fears he may
really cause permanent damage I mean Vitali almost killed him a while ago when Shannon was actually decent

Anyone see this?

http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/i...nned-iv-manny-pacquiao-fight-according-report

On the eve of his record-breaking megafight with Manny Pacquiao on May 2, pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather took an intravenous injection of saline and vitamins that was banned under World Anti-Doping Agency guidelines, according to a report by SB Nation on Wednesday.Three weeks after the fight, Mayweather received an exemption from the United States Anti-Doping Agency, the report said. However, Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett said USADA does not have authorization to grant an exemption. Bennett said only the commission, which was not notified of the exemption until after it was given, can give an athlete an exemption.
Although the substances contained in the IV were not banned by WADA, whose standards USADA says it follows, the fact that they were given intravenously was not allowed.

Exactly! Mayweather's fight isn't selling like they'd hoped so now he's saying Paq will be the best once he retires, Paq just happens to get seen by a MD within a week, now there is a cloud over the fight so now a rematch is a must. This is selling the rematch, nothing more, nothing less.

I agree this is just to get people talking about Floyd again since this fight this weekend is shaping up to be a PPV bomb.

Nothing is going to come of this IV talk.

A few friends of mine was asking about watching the fight this weekend so I happen to look on Demand to see how much it would cost and it said $75 for HD! :wow: I was like WTF!! I normally get every fight but there's no way I'm getting it for that price for him fighting that bum. I don't know why he's jacking the price up for this fight. The Manny fight I get. Heck even the Khan fight I would probably pay to see but Berto?! No freaking way! :argh:

$75!?! No way, that's just too much. Not even the Cotto/Canelo fight is going to cost that much.

Agreed! Another reason I'm not getting it is because if enough people buy that fight at that price, you will see other fighter's raise their prices as well. You have to let them know you ain't going to settle for just anything and people seem to hear dollars more than anything else.

they getting absurd with these PPV prices can't believe Mosely vs Mayorga 2 was on PPV

and for $75 to watch an even worse fight than the Paquiao fight

there is a reason the fight is getting no buzz
the casual fan and hardcore fan got burned on the last one
no way do they support this crap heck im not and consider myself
a boxing junkie

Mayweather V Berto tonight guys.I see a shut out UD win for Floyd maybe a late TKO even. Floyd wouldn't even need to be at 50% to beat Berto.

1st round knockout for joshua. Whyte also won by knockout. Should be interesting when they fight in december.
