Cotto's acting like a diva and/or straight ducking GGG. Every fighter fighting for the alphabet belts have paid sanctioning fees. Every. Single. One. He's paid sanctioning fees, on ALL the belts he's won. Now all of a sudden he feels like he's getting extorted? gtfo Cotto.

I agree he is ducking GGG, but I am with Cotto here, like I was with Floyd on this. The sanctioning fees are ridiculous, especially for these big fights. What in the hell did the WBC do to deserve $300,000 from Cotto? He already paid GGG $800,000 to step aside for this fight.

I am liking this shift from the big money fighters to give the finger to the sanctioning bodies. The only belt that matter is the Ring one, and that is because it basically belongs to the lineal champion.

Canelo, if Floyd accepts Oscars "Lets bury the hatchet" then yeah I could see it.

Right now, I'm leaning more towards Manny than anyone else. They could play the "Manny was injured angle" and sell half of what they sold last time and still be a successful PPV.

Haymon is talking to Arum about Khan vs Manny so you never know. Jay Z is going to have to work with Haymon and other promoters because his stable is kind of thin right now. As far as Floyd, I can see him vs Broner doing well actually. If there's anyone people would love to see get embarrassed, it's Adrian Broner. I can honestly see Floyd being the "good" guy in that fight. There would be so much trash talking, not just between Floyd and Broner but their corners as well. I honestly don't think Floyd vs Manny 2 will happen because of how badly people were complaining about it.

Floyd vs Broner would be hilarious. The fight may suck, but the build up would be more entertaining than any other fight out there. And Floyd would have people that normally don't root for him, root for him.

You're right about the May/Pac fight. But I wonder if casuals would buy into the hype again. I don't see Pac doing anything different. Even with a good shoulder.

Jay Z should be ashamed of himself. He hasn't done squat to promote Cotto/Canelo.

Oh well I'm watching it at the theater and can't wait!

It's a 50/50 fight but if you put a gun to my head I'd go Canelo in 10 as well. That weight will come into play late IMHO.

I'm going with Cotto. I just think he has better skill. Think he will get to the body chop him down like a tree. I've been a casual boxing fan, and I just learned today, that they weigh in the day before the fight and put on as much as 17 lbs. That's insane. I read it and it does make sense how it's done just didn't know that's how it worked.

They showed Canelo's weights yesterday. He hydrates from 155 to 170 and has done so consistently.

I've been a casual boxing fan, and I just learned today, that they weigh in the day before the fight and put on as much as 17 lbs. That's insane. I read it and it does make sense how it's done just didn't know that's how it worked.

It's a fairly common practice; most fighters try to get the size advantage this way.

They used to but it got to be too dangerous. When you have guys draining themselves the day of the fight, they go into the ring dehydrated and that's when fighters get really hurt.

Also, how do you miss weight by 5 1/2 pounds Caballero? That's just embarrassing. He was defending a Bantamweight title and didn't even make the Super Bantamweight limit.
