I hear ya. I wouldn't be so skeptical about this production if the crew didn't have a bad reputation and their resume was much more impressive. The writing is a big part of any production and with that hack (look at his resume alone) involved you can only expect the worst.

Bana has three high profiled films (The Other Boleyn Girl, Lucky You and The Golden Compass) plus a indie (Romulus My Father) all next year. He's definitely busy next year and already working on even more high profile films for 2008 Release (ie. Factor X). He's the only new talent that has been working with some the best directors in town (Ridley Scott, Curtis Hanson, Spielberg, Ang Lee, etc...) no one in his category can compare. Not even Hugh Jackman has worked with the Directors as big as Bana has. It says alot about his talent.

Bana or no Bana doens't matter to me as long as it's a great film. Sure it'd be nice to see Bana again, but I'm sure they could also find someone else better.

Well if they've found this astoundingly better actor then why haven't they shared that news with us yet? Filming starts in February right?

He did a great job, you can't argue with that... I think he'd be cheaper now than a couple years ago too. Go with that new HULK BLUR model though!!!

He was a GREAT Bruce Banner. I know he's a bit too tall, but who cares(Adrien Brody is 6' 1''!!!)? With his acting he can give another great performance! His BB was so similar to the original character!

Bana was fine but you absolutely have to cut all ties from Ang Lee's mess of a movie. Public perception of the Hulk movie is terrible. You need a fresh start thus, you need a new Banner. I liked the first cast. More's the pity that Ang Lee royally screwed it up.

Eric Bana was excellent the first time around.. and since then, he's just gotten better and more popular.

Yet, they don't want him back.

I agree, i dont see any reason why they wouldnt want him back. He is a talented actor who's movies have been successful at the BO since he was Hulk and he is an actor both the critics and GA seem to like.

They want to make a totally different Hulk movie...that's why. All in all whether you liked it or not...more people avoided the movie or didn't like it...than liked it. I loved it but I dont' matter as an individual to the box office. Just because they're making a new different one doens't mean it can't be better.
