His power would be very CGI expensive...and he wasn't affilaited with the X-Men in any way plus of course him and his entire team have been dead for a while now...I don't think a Phat cameo is likely

It doesn't matter that Phat, from the comics is dead "now" since the X-Men films are more or less re-telling the X-Men's story from the beginning. It's like arguing against Scott and Jean being a couple since their "now" separation in the comics.

On a more related note; I've always been a fan of Colossus and I really hope we see him grapple and toss some opponents around. Maybe crush/throw a car or too! !

I heard someone saying on [another board] that they thought it would be a good homage to the comics to have Colossus give his life to get rid of the cure, like how he saved everyone from the Legacy virus.

I, of course, think this is ridiculous, since we've barely gotten to know Colossus in the movies, and for him to give his life wouldn't have any impact. We don't know who Piotr is, so why all of a sudden get rid of him?

Although, it would be kind of a cool plot device to have Rao's cure mutate into the Legacy Virus, don't you think? Maybe a set-up for X4...?

Cure mutating into the legacy virus could be very interesting and put a wicked spin on the cure. |I also agree that Colossus dying is pointless without character development.

If the Legacy Virus becomes a part of any of the movies and it comes from the cure, it won't be in this film. I believe it was Kinberg who said that the Legacy Virus isn't in this film.

Get the facts straight. Phat is only a cameo role, and they wanted someone with powers like his, so he made it in.
