Superman Returns The Official Comic-Con Thread!

And what do we get if he does show up, Charl? I hope you're photogenic and not shy....:)

You get a card too Snake:up:

edit:

There are a lot of good panels this year. Most are usually boring, but there have been a lot of changes with the DCAU, comics and Sr so I imagine a lot of "aftermath" questions. I'm going to try to put in a few, but I usually chicken out.

The will Singer show or won't show question has added some pizzaz to the con this year.

If it wasn't for the fact that Alienware sucks, I would get the laptop

If SInger does show some here will be fools just like how certain some said if Singer did not show others will be fools. Works both ways not one

Correct yourself, my friend, and read my posts.

I SAID....HIS SHEEP WILL BAHHHHHHH IF HE IS THERE.

No one is a fool or not a fool if he doesn't show. I actually would like him to be there. I think he should be there because he is such an accomplished director that he doesn't have a thing to fear from tomato-throwing-*****es/idiotic fanboys and girls-like me.

:)

stop trying to bait her.

Not baiting her just making a statement that shes now saying stuff she did not say when if you were there at the time you know she said it. But I will stop shes has enough to worry about with mods watching her

I'm watching you.:spidey:

I have always referred to people who like movie as sheep. It's not derogatory, per ser, but...well...I was a sheep once. So I feel this connection...

I do not want SR to fail...and I'm one who is easily baited so listen to Robo :)

trust me showtime.

I'm going to leave this here..

he knows what i mean.

so, we're not expecting any of the cast members to be there? just Singer (if he decides to show up)?

^^Steel, no cast member are billed as showing. Though, didn't BR show up last year. I can't remember if that was a surprise or not, but he was there, right?

Anyway, I doubt he's doing much. Though, his ass should be in the gym for the next "potential" movie.

was Routh at the SDCC? i thought he was at the WonderCon?

edit: nvm, i just realized that the SDCC and the WonderCon are one and the same :o

in anycase, Routh was an unknown back then, heck he was more of a "prop" for Singer like the Superman teaser poster-- something for Show and Tell.

and besides even if the studios give the go ahead for the sequel, Singer wasnt set to work on that until late next year, at least that's the last i heard of it.

I want to say he was there, but there was a lot of hype with the clip and I left after the second showing. I was WAY hot.

It may have been WonderCon and that's what I'm remember, but I didn't go to that so that's just from the internet.

I can't remember now if he was at last years SDCC, but I didn't see him there. Portman was there though...LOL...I remember the frenzy with that.

edit:

Wondercom is up North...unless someone slipped me some crack earlier and I've been confused all these years.

I don't think Routh was at Comic Con, he was a suprise at Wonder Con. Harris, Dougherty, and Singer went to Comic Con as far as I can remember.

sorry to be so confusing, but i'm jumping between here and the Batforums (and right now, tht place feels like something out of the Twilight Zone with the breaking news).

i havent been to WonderCon or the SDCC, so sorry to have lumped them together :o, blame it on this picture here: http://www.brandonrouth.us/gallery/details.php?image_id=2252

i remember now that at the SDCC, Singer brought the SR teaser poster for Show and Tell, at the WonderCon he brought Routh.

which doesnt change at thing: Routh was a prop ;)

this year he has made a name for himself, makes me wonder if he would show up. not sure about his "geek" factor but some actors like Elijah Wood, actually shows up in these events not because they were promoting their movie, but because they're just regulars.

^^Routh should be in the gym from here until the next sequel...if I see his skinny ass at the con...he'll get a tomato too:) even though I think he's a hottie :)

actually, i want to see Routh do another film and get that out before he works on SR2 (if we'll get one). the man says he likes to do comedy, and i think he does have talent for that, if his DP Clark is any indication.

^^good point...I hadn't thought of that.

He did good timing...from what little I seen. It would be nice to see him do more in the next movie. LOL...what I'd love to hear Singer say if he shows up is, the next movie is pre-crisis!

No tomatoes will be thrown if he says that...I hope :)
