Ah, there is the point...
The Raimi costumes were perfect. Too perfect for a broke high school/college kid to make, let alone make multiple numbers of them, as they seemed to get tore up with every fight. The new costume looks gritty, homemade.

Not hardly. No teenager could realistically make the ASM costume any more than they could make the Raimi Spider-Man costume.

I don't even know if a teenager could whip up this jam:

Have you seen some of the cosplay at conventions? That's nothing.

I'm pretty sure those cosplayers at conventions have more money and better resources than a broke high school student from Queens, though.

The point is, either you go with it and just accept that Pete-or Martha Kent for that matter-can sew or weave an awesome looking costume or you don't.

I mean, you got one guy crawling on walls and the other flying through the SUN and a fancy costume is hard to believe? Seems odd to me.

I was broke all through hight school and still managed to save up for nice things now and then again. Kids can be resourceful when they really want something.

Yeah, but Pete has to spend most of his money on Aunt May. I mean, being broke is part of the whole Spider-Man thing.

Also, Kurosawa, to respond to your whole 'They think primary colors suck!' ********, I give you two words:

Color Correction.

Hm. It's almost like the blue on the costume of this set picture of the Spider-Man suit isn't blue. Yet it was blue in the film. How? Color Correction.

Hell, the shade of blue in that set pic is even less colorful than the Superman suit's.

So please, consider logic before assuming that the studio somehow thinks 'primary colors suck'.

best comic to movie costume ive seen is the CR superman and Rdj as ironman and maybe CE as cap in the avengers but i am going to wait. but as for x-men all suits sucked up until first class which had really great costumes for what they were

I actually like the Superboy suits more than the Reeve one. Iron Man's suit is good. Cap's Avengers suit is good, though I'd make some slight changes. I hope the First Class suits are changed up a little for each character whenever they get to a sequel.

I know Peter Parker is broke and everything, but what happened with the "fighting competition" money?

Speaking as an ex broke HS kid from Queens, I gotta agree. But I had no gift for sewing.

lol, my brain still hasnt wrapped around that suit yet...
... it's... different... to say the least

That is amazing. I love it to death. 2013 cannot get here soon enough.

kinda reminds me of the Thor movie costumes, but I still like it I like that he has the blue under suit

Looks more Elven than Asgard armor.

I like how they're tying Superman's suit to his Kryptonian roots. You can definitely see Superman's suit in Jor-El's costume.

holy damn! wasnt expecting that kind of design at all haha

dont know yet if I like it or dislike it :/ have to sleep on it methinks.

I'm digging the new look for Jor-El, though I wished Crowe had shaved.

OMG I ******* love it!

Seriously, so much better than I was afraid of.

Only thing I wish, was that his hair was a bit more clean shaven and his hair was shorter. But it's Russell Crowe, you kind of expect him to be a bit dishevelled :p

where were people getting the halo armor from before

and sage is right give the man a shave and haircut and he would look much better

But he's a scientist, don't they tend to look a bit scrappy :P

Not what I expected..But I'm cool with it!!

i dont like it. the design is overworked. it looks cumbersome to wear. it doesnt look very scientist-y.
