I love that drawing you did, Wams, looks great. I definitely see Superman when i see this new suit. Unfortunate how narrow-minded some of you guys are, this is a truly awesome design imo.

Way to insult Jose Luis Garcia Lopez. How does he look ******ed in that drawing? Because he isn't sneering? Because he's smiling? Disgusting.

That's worse than the adapt or die insult, although it is an insult too.

The lack of respect and in fact, outright hatred some have of classic Superman is completely sickening.

The fact that the sneering, red eyes style of drawing Superman is worshiped and a drawing of him actually smiling-which is was Superman is SUPPOSED to do is ridiculed just shows how little modern fans understand Superman.

Really, they just need a different character, because what they want is not Superman. Period.

Did the guy say every piece of art by Lopez looks bad?

Did the guy say every picture of Superman smiling looks bad?

Did the guy say that the reason that particular picture looks bad is BECAUSE he is smiling?

Or could it be, that in that one picture by a talented artist, his smile and facial features were not the best representation of his work... And perhaps a better picture could have been chosen.

Not every single negative comment about anything that YOU like in the Superman mythos should lead to a lecture ending with 'Modern fans just don't get Superman'

Seriously, ONE guy posts that he doesn't like ONE picture from ONE artist... And you jump to 'no modern fans get Superman, they should just go read another character'?!

I think the trunks should stay gone. They are just an archaic design feature of years past used to break up all that blue. There is other ways to break up the blue on the costume.
