When you get own3d its pretty much you just got embarrased and the other person had a much better point.

ok, so it's like saying BURN!! or something. I get it now.............thx.

I'm confused about Aquaman's appearance in Superman 208. I haven't been reading Aquaman, so I can't be completely sure, but hasn't Aquaman been not only banished from his own kingdom, but the entire ocean? So how was he able to summon the army he had in this issue? Also, it certainly didn't look he had a water hand, unless the green glove was covering it. Can someone explain this?

Well, the water hand is explained easily enough by the fact that he's wearing gloves. The water takes the shape of a hand and a hand made of anything looks the same inside a glove.

The fact that he brought together an army consisting not only of marine life (which he's regained his control over) but also Atlanteans confused me too. While it's true that Atlantis was freed from the control of the sorcerer caste at the end of Veitch's second arc on Aquaman, Aquaman himself wasn't directly involved and no one ever followed up on it. As far as I know, Aquaman hasn't even seen Atlantis since the sorcerers kicked him out, and furthermore, the ending of Pfeiffer's first arc clearly implies that Aquaman is still bereft of his kingship of Atlantis because he still talks about it in the past tense. It's possible that, since Vulko and Tempest played a major role in the revolt against the sorcerers, they returned control of Atlantis' armies to Aquaman, but that's unlikely and it's a hell of a thing to skip over without some kind of attention given to it in print. Looks like your basic continuity flub to me.

The general thought (which seems to differ writer to writer) is that the heroes remember "something big" happened but don't know exactly what it was. To my knowledge only Psycho Pirate remembers everything.

Doesn't the Flash know a little more than the rest too, since Barry died in the Crisis? Or does Wally just know that Barry died doing some big, heroic thing without specific knowledge of the Crisis?

Here's an easy one, what issue is Superman/Batman on? I haven't seen anything new in Diamond's solicitations for awhile. I heard the book has been delayed because of Turner's art. Is that true? Anyone have an idea when it will come out if that's the case?

Again I think it depends on the writer, some treat it as if he knows and others don't.

The last issue to come out was #11.

So does anyone actually know why Superman/Batman has been delayed so long? I hope it's not for Turner's art because his art certainly isn't worth it. :o

Someone posted their theory in another thread: they delayed it so it would coincide with the debut of a Supergirl monthly.

Oh. That's a bit of a stupid reason to delay it. I want to get to Pacheco's arc already. :(

Yeah, pisses me off... Big cliffhanger.. Then they delay it for a month just so it can coincide with a Supergirl series that probably won't be that good. Oh well, hopefully the last few ish's won't be that bad so we can get into the next arc.

Let me ask you people something how many SCU leaders have there been and can you list there names, info and maybe even some pics. And am talking about Superman comics.

The only one I know of is Maggie Sawyer, but she's over at Gotham Central now.

Now, please remember to be nice when answering this question, and you`re talking to TOTAL newbie to comics.......lol........

What was the 'Crisis' I keep reading about?

Ok what exactly are mirror master's powers?
And what happen during the Hush arc on Batman I read the first issue but I cant find the trade (i live in a small town lol)?

Oh and the crisis theyd be refering to would be The Crisis on Infinite Earths which was basically a 12 issue mini-series in which all the Earths (Earth, Earth 2, Earth X, etc.) Were merged into one earth and a lot of the screwy continuity was fixed it was basically one huge revamp for the entire DCU (you should get the trade its really a great story) and everything that happened before this is refered to as pre-crisis which means it pretty much never happened.

If you had AIM I could help you out with Hush, PM me and I can work something out with you :)

Anybody have 'The Crisis' complete story they'd like to sell me, cheap? I live in a small town with no comic shop for miles.

Buy it at Amazon.com. They always got a copy.

I'm a newbie to DC comics and have a stupid question. (Duh.) Do all members of the JLA know each others' identities? Or only some? How do they decide who to tell? It seems like an awful lot of people to trust with that, given that some good guys turn bad...

In Identity Crisis, it looks like they must all know Clark is Superman if they're going to show him as Clark on the big screen where everyone can see. Someone please 'splain, thanks.

I think the JLA has a full disclosure agreement when you sign on, basically. Everyone in the JLA knows everyone else's secret identity. Of course, that doesn't apply to the Flash anymore, since he got to restart his secret identity. Still, he's re-revealed himself to all of the important League members.

I see. It can work, I suppose, because even if one turns bad, they all know his or her identity. And they can all work closer if they know the people under the masks. Which makes me wonder if the Avengers have a similar disclosure agreement...

Thanks! :)
