speaking of Cass-was the Destruction's Daughter story any good? I've been collecting Batgirl trades. but don't wanna waste my time or money on bad ones.

the best of them IMO...def pick it up. it was the 1st cass story i read and i was hooked. she is my fav female character by far.

Not Simone or WW's best work by a very long shot. It's got some good moments and it'll probably get better, though.

It's a decent story that's ruined by Simone's failed attempt at creating Wonder Woman's own Doomsday. If the story was actually focusing on the Olympian that was rising, it'd be a lot better.

whats Lana Lang doing these days? last i saw her she detonated a bunch of kryptonite missiles in the atmosphere (which were conveniently cleaned up by Toyman's vacuum cleaner bugs) and Supes wasnt very happy with her.

She was fired from LexCorp and now either runs or is working for The Daily Planet.

She's also pretending to be Supergirl's aunt (I think) for her secret identity. And she's come down with a mysterious illness.

Or...I'm completely mixing her up with someone else.

Yeah, I'm completely confused about what Genocide's purpose is. She's an anti-Wonder Woman in an arc named after another anti-Wonder Woman who will presumably be the real antagonist of the arc, I guess? That just seems redundant...

Sinestro question: So in Emerald Twilight, he creates the illusion that Hal killed him, to push him over the edge and make him merge with Parallax. In Rebirth, he returns to menace Kyle & Ollie. My question is: Where exactly was Sinestro hiding all the time?

Look like the rumor true, DC is bringing Superboy back. I heard that they are going to kick off Action Comics #1 as if he never died??? Is this true?

Adventure Comics, actually. And I'm sure it will be established that he was dead. How else would Geoff Johns do his usual self-congradulatory writing?

I think it's best not to answer that question.

He was brought back in Legion of 3 Worlds #4.

It took a thousand years to do it though.

okay, so wait. Kid Flash and Superboy both came back in Legion of 3 Worlds? I might have to pick this up then. is it really worth getting?

For me, the main problem with Lo3W is how ingrained it is in DC continuity and previous storylines (which is kind of the opposite of Johns' "Superman & Legion" arc). That being said, Johns seems very adept at keeping the story going even when there's an army of characters.

While we're on the subject, when it says "Legion of 3 Worlds," what exactly are the 3 worlds we're talking about?

Well, 3 Legions from 3 of the 52 Earths?

One looks to be from the most recent LOSH series.

One from the recent Action Comics where Superman travels forward to fight against the rampant xenophobia on Earth.

The third is from classic LOSH? I need to bust Lo3W again. I've already forgotten.

One is from New Earth's future--that's the "real" Legion (a.k.a. the Silver Age Legion, all grown up) from Johns' Action Comics arc. One is from the Waid/Shooter Legion comic that just got canceled a little while ago. The last is from the time between Zero Hour and Infinite Crisis, with XS and Gates and all of them.

Yeah, it's really good. The premise is a little goofy and Johns' favoritism of the Silver Age Legion might get on your nerves if you're like me, but it's a fun series otherwise.

That Gotham Unerground story....what's that even about? was it any good?

Okay, I know I'm late on this but...

But, if Batman died by the end of final crisis, how can R.I.P and Battle for The Cowl and such be happening???

pfft. ask an editor as DC. I doubt they even know. that time-line is really jacked up.

RIP happened before Final Crisis and Battle For The Cowl happens after. You can't put a precise pinpoint on comic book time and all of that.

I'm not exactly sure what your asking.

R.I.P. took place ,for the most part, before the events of the end of Final Crisis.

Battle for The Cowl takes place a few weeks after the end of Final Crisis.

Also, comics that come out in the same month dont always take place in a close relitive time to each other.

So Batman could be running around in JLA and Detective released in the same month but the stories are taking place days, weeks or even months from each other.
