The OFFICIAL Deleted Scenes Links Thread

Hello everyone, and it's great to see that the X-Men board is still very active even from over a year ago.

Some people may remember me from when I first joined the SHH Boards back when Bryan Singer was still the director of X-Men:TLS, however, when the movie was released back in May, and after watching it - I was sooo annoyed that I never returned..

The movie, in my opinion, needed a lot of work, and Brett Ratner didn't do enough for the movie..

Anyway, away from that, I made a website recently that contains the deleted scenes, alternate endings and easter eggs from the X-Men: The Last Stand DVD. I heard about the news that half or more of the DVDs sold did not contain all 21 deleted scenes, and so I wanted to post them up for you guys.

Ofcourse, the site is yet to contain all deleted scenes and alternate endings, but please be patient and I'll have them up as soon as possible!

Just a Note: This site is DIALUP RESTRICTED! If you use dialup or anything slower, then this site may take up to half an hour to load!

The website contains the Deleted Scenes from X-Men: The Last Stand DVD (Australia Release) and is not owned or copyrighted by myself. All video material is owned by their respective owners.

Please let me know what Deleted Scenes and/or Alternate Endings you would like to see first, this way I can work to upload these videos first.

And just a note, this website is best viewed in 1024x768. Any lower or higher resolution is fine, but may contain hard to read fonts or scrolling bars.

Thanks to all who continued to support X3, even though it was a load of bull, and I hope this website can help you out in seeing the Deleted Scenes, Alternate Endings and Easter Eggs you may never got to see..

Oh, I saw the new site, and ... wow, it is amazing..but no downloadable videos there! :whatever: And I like to watch 'em over and over again!:ninja:

Ah, thass okay by me. Sodomy is illegal here in Greece (although no one really cares to enforce it), so me, being gay, I'm an outlaw as well.
 
well,I own X-Men (in Vhs, and then I bought the DVD), X-Men 1.5, X-Men 2 (2 disc edition) and I want to buy X-Men 3. But I also want to see something that maybe I won't see anywhere :D
I don't think it's illegal if we own the original copy...

If you notice the copyright laws, etc, all videos and animations have said that I do not own these products.. Also, if you want to start saying things are illegal, this whole thread is illegal due to the ripping of copyright material and posted on the internet.. so don't just state that the website is illegal, because it's not just that - anyway, I might be removing it since no one seems to be using it, and just change it so I have the list of deleted scenes, alternate endings and easter eggs available for download as .avi files.

This site originally was back from November last year where it contained the Teaser Site (the very first one), the Full Site (the very first one before the movie release), Trailers, Teasers, and more..

It was something I put together for those who couldn't see it.. I have now changed the link. .thanks for bringing that up.. but I was sure I changed it originally..

lol all you have to do is click "download" and it plays on media player. im gonna it on youtube tomorrow though....along with something else im working on as well:cwink:
 
I wonder, where is the ones??? the previz had been awsome, now i understand some scenes even more better..... I just wonder how is the Dark Phoenix Finale previz animatics??? I read that the firebird appear, I would love to see it.....
 
in that Dark Phoenix finale, i also read something about how when Logon stabs Jean she floats up and the phoenix raptor appears then fizzles out, then she dies in his arms.
 
Wow. I guess I arrived a bit too late. Thanks for uploading all the deleted scenes, especially the VOBs of the deleted scenes that weren't included on most DVDs.

Is there any chance anyone can reupload the VOB of the "Jean display's her power at the encampment" scene? It'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks regardless. :)
 
um ..... SO glad they did not use the Beast Shakespeare scene. It was so not a good scene.

The X-Jet landing in DC was pretty cool. Was that supposed to be in the beginning of the movie? And what was with it looking like the Phoenix scene at the end of X2? I did kinda like that though ....

And where can we view the animatics? I want to see the one that someone mentioned above where Logan kills Jean

It definitely took you out of the scene. Not even sure why Ratner shot it. The point of the scene is the emotion of what's ahead, and that piece of dialogue just adds unnecessary humor.

Good thing it was cut, but it was obviously cut. I do question Ratner at times...

In the early versions of the X-Men 3 script the climax was staged at Washington D.C. but when Ratner came onboard he deemed it too complex and expensive so he repositioned the second act of the film (Magneto moving the Golden Gate Bridge) to the third act, thusly making Alcatraz Island the climax.

Originally, Magneto went to Alcatraz to release mutants that were being held prisoner there. He used the Golden Gate Bridge to do that. But in Ratner's version it sufficed as the ending (and Alcatraz ended up being the facility housing the cure) and the Washington, D.C. ending was scrapped.

Unfortunate, but true. :(

As for why there was the Phoenix shot from X2...well, it was the last shot of that movie and since the Dark Phoenix aspect was a sub-plot in X-Men: The Last Stand, I guess the marketing guys over at 20th Century Fox thought it was a cool concept to regauge audience memory.
