I can buy Doc Ock still being alive... but still being evil? Wasn't that kind of settled at the end of Spider-Man 2 when he said "I will not die a monster?" And the Sandman storyline was more or less resolved with the conversation Peter and Sandman had. It would seem a little ridiculous and contradictory to have him turn to crime again, even after that.

He could re-surface with selective amnesia

And yes Sandman's story was resolved (kinda), but it isn't too hard to imagine the possibility of Ock using Penny to get him to fall in line.

I think the Sinister Six could have a different leader, to be honest. A real *****bag. Someone you can hate. Not a sympathetic villain. A bad guy who can manipulate and betray fellow villains without breaking a sweat.

How about Hobgoblin?

You know, to be truely honest with you. I don't think that a movie version of The Sinister Six is a good idea at all.

I mean how can it work? You saw what happened when they recently tried to cram in three villains!

I think Electro can be a pretty challenging villain, if well-handled, if you put him travelling through wires, messing up with machines and stuff. But please, not the yellow lighting costume, it´s one of the silliest villain costumes in comics.

Oh yeah most definitely. Classic costume aside, the concept of Electro's visuals creates some exciting possibilities.

Bad news indeed. Sinister six? Did he learn nothing! The sinister six always seemed like something to do with already established vilains who'd already been used a bit and kinda ran out of steam needing to do something new.

Using vulture and electro is a good idea, but leave out a swathe of villains and the sinister six.

Lizard fans are gonna be mad... Love Electro, not the Vulture... Maybe if Adrian Toomes uses technology to "create" Electro... but I don't think having the old man flying around is a good idea.

Maybe he didn't name check The Lizard because everyone already knows it's pretty much a given he'll be in the fourth movie?

And personally, i'd rather not have any connection between Electro and Toomes at all.

"The Lizard is probably one of my favorite characters," he said of the baddie Connors eventually became in the comics. (He joined the Sinister Six when they became the Sinister Twelve, by the way.) "But ['Spider-Man 4'] will probably have to start with the central journey of the main character to arrive at the proper villain."

I think is OK to leave the Lizard out if he really wants Vulture or Electro. I think Lizard + Kraven are a must.

Sinister 6 could be done. Introduce Lizard and Kraven in 4, Electro and Vulture in 5 and either Venom or Ock's return. Then they could team up and take Sandman's girl hostage to make him be the sixth member. That way we know all of their backstories from earlier films and it won't deal with the problems from three. Also, they will all be teamed up, so it will only be one story. Remember in 3, people didn't like how it was like 3 different stories going on at once. It could work, if done right.

besides i want Venom back it pisses me off how the most popular spider-man villain got only half an hour of screen time


and they shouldnt use Electro for the simple Fact Fox decided to give Doom electric powers

Do they have to setup origins for each new villian, no they don't. They could establish them as villians and get rid of the tradgic villian crud away from the franchise.

They way that I see what was wrong, and probably a few will agree, was that the tried to hard to create too many plots and subplots together. And now that Avi Arad is gone they don't have that push he instilled on Raimi. Remember, it wasnt Raimi's fault (maybe it was), the producers and FOX pushed, its their flim and they want a cash cow.

They can't go with an origins for the six or link them to Pete, a la Sandman. The tradgic villian stuff is ruining the series IMHO.

Me too! The only thing is that movie JJJ is not as wacko as to create the Scorpion... I think it could work with the Shocker, as some sort of hi-tech costimed gang...

I do not want lizard yet, have the development of conners in number 4, save Lizard for 5, that way we'll have more of an attachment, rather than just a crappy oh look he's a villain, and we spent like 10 mins with him on screen, what an impact....

i think we understand by now that sam does not follow the comic book characters fully; he likes to change their looks and motivations to best fit the story and journey peter goes through in the movies (like sandman being uncle bens real killer). So, in my idea for Spider-Man 4, i have Electro as the secondary villian to The Lizard, who is a student at Columbia with Peter. He gains his powers in an accident involving a prototype machine that produces mass amounts of electricity. But my idea is that he has a mother who is terminally ill, and he cannot help her because they are strapped for money (he barely got into college but was helped by scholarships) and her insurance wont cover the operations and medicines she needs. When he gets his powers, the only thing he wants to do is use them to steal enough money to help his mother. Spidey stops him from doing so and finds out soon after that his mother died. He believes if spidey didnt stop him he could have saved her, so he seeks out revenge on spidey. Theirs more to it but thats how i think it would work.
