I think Erica has put on 15-20 pounds since S4 personally. It's helped her face a bit but her body is not quite up to Aqua standards.

Yeah the only person who was saying that was Man of Tommorow (he is no man at all to say that about a beautiful lady)

Everyone else loves her as Lois.

Clearly, you didn't read my post. I'm aware of what she looks like now. I just know it's thanks to heavy makeup and botox.

The difference is obvious. Bags, lines and wrinkles from the earlier seasons have been fixed and/or covered up. Makes her look 10 years younger.

While I still prefer natural beauty, I commend the makeup dept for trying to make her look more Lois-like. Plastic surgery is fine, it fixes God's mistakes. It certainly improved her bustline.

Nevertheless, IMO she can easily be topped.

you didnt she was overweight, true, but you said she's one in the same standard as Aqua.

i don't think it's true. and i actually thought the bikini scene in aqua she was a bit too skinny.

Actually, I can see that in the earlier seasons her makeup was applied completely different. Her hair was also dyed to a point where it didnt suit features like her eyebrow colour.

This was probably all a deliberate choice by the makeup artist to help the audience believe that Lois was tough, harsh and older than the others. That is, the makeup went with the character's personality traits. Think of Chloe's makeup and hair in the first couple of seasons and then how it changed right around the time she found out about Clark.

So, now that they allow Erica's hair to be closer to its natural colour (which suits her features better), her eye makeup is softer and it gives her a more sparkly and caring look. She also wears a softer shade of foundation that doesn't reveal every line and wrinkle she has. (Not that she has many)

With the right application of makeup Erica is now allowed to show off her natural beauty.

Yeah I agree with that definitly. I think they finally allowed Erica to look the best in the cast because apparntly when Lana was there she had to look the best so they made Lois dye her hair so that Lana had the natural hair.

I mean, I don't know about make-up because I think Erica/ Lois has always been beautiful but I think her make-up does look softer.
I think she may have had a slight amount of botox around her mouth but all it did was make her look younger tbh.

I think it was Lois' tough look that made her hot and different to Lana in my opinion.

I didn't see a drastic change in her make-up because I'm a guy but I think it was mostly down to the way her hair has been styled and the coloring.

I guess you are VERY anti- Erica Durance, which is fine, not everyone can think she does a good job of Lois.

To me the best thing about Erica is she makes a charming and loveable Lois.

Looks aside (I am asuming you have watched ALL 6 seasons she has been on so far) do you think she plays the personality and the spirit of the Lois Lane character?

She looks neither plastic and in my opinion she doesn't look a day over 27.

Erica Durance may have an older look to her because she has a square shaped face.

It doesn't mean she's any less gorgeous, in the pictures I posted I wouldn't say she was any older than about 26/ 27 taking into account the shape of her face.

I would say that because there isn't a single line on her face.

Erica Durance, is absolutely gorgeous and doesn't look antyhing past mid 20's. Anyone that disagrees with that isn't honest enough worth arguing with.

Erica to me is perfect because she looks like all the previous Lois Lane's put into one. She's more Hatcher mixed with STAS Lois than anything else but she also has that "mature for her age" look that Kidder had. She also has perfect Lois Lane comedic timing & she knows how to play a tough army brat. She doesn't get enough credit. She should be deemed the ultimate Lois Lane IMO. I've never watched a live action Lois Lane that I could understand Clark falling in love with. Hatchers Lois always seemed far to self centered & mean & Kidders was a rough, cig smoking, selfish woman who never wanted anything to do with Clark. Erica balances tough & confident without making herself out to be a *****. She's perfect.
