And for the record I think Erica looks alot like Lois Lane from the comics. Muscular arms (for a woman), big boobs but not too big, gorgeous, and a strong jaw-line.

It's all Erica. Lois is strong woman but it helps that she looks like one as well.

I love watching the episode with the commentary. I crack up everytime I see Clark dancing in his boxers with Lana and Chloe.

I'd love to see this type of scene in the series finale with Lois and Superman .

Agreed, Don't get me wrong I loved the super leap from the Daily Planet rooftop sequence from "Crimson" . But I want to see a full Flight sequence with Superman and Lois.

Ok, first off I really can't tell if your being serious or being sarcastic . Because Erica in those pics doesn't even come close to looking the age of 40.

In fact She just turned 32 on June 21st, 2010.

Second, Her version of Lois fits prefect in the show, We got to see her journey from and an army brat into the iconic top investigative ace reporter we all know and love.

I agree, in the earlier seasons she looked much older facially.... she had noticeable bags, wrinkles, lines etc I never bought her as a highschool student.

But she's had work done since and botox... it's so obvious, in S9 she looks younger.


Her boobs are 100% fake too, but I've got nothing against silicone. It keeps strip clubs in business.


And she really does look nothing like STAS Lois.. Durance has an 'okay' look for Lois but can easily be topped.

Hopefully the upcoming film finally gives us the definitive version of Lois Lane. The past competition is quite meh, so it shouldn't be tough.

That's because she wasn't supposed to be one. She's older than Clark. She was only sent to Smallville high as a lesson from Gen lane for failing classes in College.

There is no better version of Lois than Durance's. She is leaps & bounds above any other incarnation in terms of characterization & looks. Not even the great Teri Hatcher could compare. Its because we really never got a proper take on modern postcrisis Lois in live action yet. L+C was essentially a romantic comedy.

The same can be said for Lex Luthor.

The upcoming film has the potential to give us a definitive version....

The bar to top for Lois is quite low.

Superman, however, is a different story. Reeve set the bar quite high and is regarded as an icon whos image drives most visual interpretations of the character.

Aware of that, but she still looked 30 something those days. Older than the age of the actress.

She also looked much noticeably older than Welling. Its probably why they conveniently tried to de-age her from S8 onwards when they paired the two up romantically.

I dont mind the botox and heavy makeup, but it is what it is. IMO there LOTS of room for her look and interpretation of Lois to be topped.

Wrinkles, lines and bags are gone. Her face looks plastic now.


But it helps, she does look better now I admit. Though, personally I prefer natural beauty over this.

I guess you are VERY anti- Erica Durance, which is fine, not everyone can think she does a good job of Lois.

To me the best thing about Erica is she makes a charming and loveable Lois.

Looks aside (I am asuming you have watched ALL 6 seasons she has been on so far) do you think she plays the personality and the spirit of the Lois Lane character?

Are you a huge Teri Hatcher fan or a huge Lana fan?

She looks neither plastic and in my opinion she doesn't look a day over 27.

I think you should re-consider your name since Superman would NEVER say some of the things I hear you say on these boards.
