I'm with you dude, all of the x-men comics seem to have the exact same team, Cyclops, Wolverine and Emma Frost.
Yep. Those are the only three characters that the X-writers seem to care about these days. That's the main reason why I'm not very current and don't care to be.

Yeah people (including me) are starting to get a little pissed off with the same 3 characters appearing in nearly every x book, becasue of the recent solicitations were their on nearly every team. A lot of good characters are going to waste. I guess every writer wants to have their take on the x-mens general and girlfreind, i hope this fad dies out soon :(

I hope so because Emma bores me to tears. :(

The only Emma I loved was the White Queen of the Hellfire Club......and Emma in GenX, basically pre-diamond Emma...

...whats going on in X-Men lately anyways...haven't kept up with all things X since Messiah Complex, I still love X-Men and want to get back into it, but its not the X I grew up with if anyone understands......I know a little here and there of certain recent events but...hows the vampire thing going...is Hope dead and all that?

That really is extremely annoying and I'm saying that as a big fan of all three. X-Men are supposed to be an ensemble cast, damn it! Not to mention that with overexposure comes almost inevitably bad and/or inconsistent characterization. I'd rather see my favourites written by just one or two writers who get them and write them well. The cast of X-Factor, for example, is in much better hands than X-Men's current "big three".

^^ Agreed. X-Factor is the best of all the X-books right now mainly because they are in the hands of a great and capable writer who seems to really "get" everyone on his roster. :)

Off topic here... Why do I get the feeling I'm being ignored?

Answer from intelligent self; "Because your replies are dumber than stupid..."

Grr... shut up...

 I didn't think anyone was ignoring you....?

Meh.... just no one reacting to anything I said at all. I had a bit of an internal struggling with my split self. ;)

ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!! Glad it was Storm who pointed out how shabbily Gambit has been treated by the X-Men. So glad she is back from Wakanda! Remy needs an ally in the X ranks, and Storm has always been there for him before.

And why does he have gloves in the first panel and not in the second????

Take 2... If for some reason this isn't working, it's the page from X-23 #2 were Gambit and Storm are talking. I'm sure you've seen it, Squeeks!

So much irony in that panel (being that it's entirely true that Gambit and X-23 are both characters that have been mistreated lately... by the writers).

Amen. When I read that, I was please that someone finally acknowledged this! Things started to go really wrong for Gambit when Storm got married (well, actually before that, but she was the only X Man who consistently sided with Gambit (you hear that Rogue!) and it seems that he had no motivation to stay with the X Men until Storm showed up permenantly in Utopia in the SC crossover) I am very happy that writers have really gone back to the Storm-Gambit friendship.

Well, things are really looking up for our Cajun! He's in X-23, X Men (though mainly there in the latest issue for Pixie to cling onto-what is it with him and teenage girls? I thought that was Wolverine's thing.), and X Men vs Vampires. It's positively Remy overkill compared to the last five years! And more to come! Hurrah! The Ragin Cajun is back, mes amis!

Though this kinda stuff is mainly to wedge a character into the background of an issue, they've certainly started tying Gambit to some of the younger X-Characters lately.

Honestly, no complaints there. He no longer has much of anything in regards to common ground or ties to the veterans (short of Storm and Rogue). It's almost awkward when he's in a scene with Cyclops or any of the older X-Characters at this point.

It was okay. I didn't find it stupendous, but I am happy I have it just because we get so little of him. :( It wasn't anything that evolved his character any.

Wow... so is that Gambit and Storm conversation breaking the fourth wall or something...?

Seriously. It's what us fans have been saying ever since the Milligan Horseman of Death disaster. :(
