This isn't the Hulk forums though. If he has trolled over there, then I'm certain that the mods would have taken care of it. In here, he hasn't shown any signs of trolling.

Well, my friends don't really know of DB but they know about DBZ which is very popular among people all around the world.

I agree with you. That's why I'm thinking this movie won't be that successful.

Does people realice that Transformers movie has diferent history and concept than Transformers cartoon? how would Megatron would have look like in action live movie if he change to a smaller gun like in the cartoons? and were did we get to see Shockwave, the one that trasnform into a radio?(He was important to Megatron), do you know that the transformers arrive to Earth by accident in the cartoon? the movie adapt the cartoon and is made on his own, and people enjoy it; why can not be the same way for DB movie?.

we should watch the DB movie as an adaptation and enjoy it the same way like the transformers movie, I mean, is better see it with a history that we dont know instead of a copy of the anime when we allready know what is goingto happen, is better for me to see a diferent movie that a copy of the anime were we allready know what is going to happen.

Transformers was actually based on a TOY line with no pre-story or anything.

Dragon Ball is an actual COMIC BOOK adaptation and has a very strong story which needs NO adjustment. AT ALL!!!!

Only the looks of the characters cause no Humans look like that. Transformers are a toy line once again...ok? Anyone can make what story they want based on toys that just looked good and Michael Bay did what he wanted with the same Toy Line.

The manga DB and DBZ are based on is called "Dragon Ball". The "Z" was only added in the anime to signify the final part of the series. So they aren't exactly different shows like people make them seem.

and i believe the story will be very good, even with these changes they are doing, its still based on dragonball, so its destined to be good. and the fact that many of the important people involved with this movie are fans of dragonball is very encouraging

No matter what came after...It is based on the TOY line so they used the wrong comic book. Peter Jackson had a vision and was already a great Indy Director.

I have not seen a more bland director to date. I think this was maybe too much for this guy to handle with his credentials. The One was terrible and even with Jet Li the action was not all that good.

To you.... Regardless we don't know the terms of Goku going to high school whether for the first time or not, it wont take up more then the first 10 minutes of the film. If that is the case it shouldn't matter. You having a problem with a Caucasian playing an alien is your problem. Solution? Don't bother with this movie, and don't let it affect whatever life you have in the outside world. Some people have fair criticism but still will wait and give it a chance, you however convinced yourself it will indeed suck. Why bother to even waste your time arguing over it? You can't convince people your argument is right, at least not for another year. But to do that you would need to see the movie, which would totally go against what you're saying. Just pretend this movie doesn't exist. All parties are now happy.

I can tell what guys like you would say if the first Superman were made today: "Cristopher Reeve is to skinny to be Superman, Wtf, LEx Luthor have a estupid Otis helper, when did that Guy comming From, and Luthor is not Bold most of the movie? that movie will suck...hehe

Oh and what about Batman Beggins: " Alfred is not bold? WTF is that guy thinking, or and The Batmovil is a Tank, Nolan sucks, The movie will Suck...

I trusted Christopher Nolan from previous installments, and LOTR is based on a BOOK and not a work of fiction that we had already attached images to. Movie adaptations do change things, but come on with Alfred being bald. That depends on the artist . The Batmobile has had plenty of renditions and it has looked like a tank before in the comics. Check Frank Miller out before you get into Batman topics. Reeve WAS too skinny to play Supes and still remains, but Richard Donner was already a GREAT director in Hollywood. People trusted him and superman had had renditions of actors before him who had hit live action.

King Kong was great but obviously for a guy who has hope in something with a lack luster director, horrible casting, and bad plot which practically kills the main theme of adaptation, I can fully see why you found King Kong to be not so good.

I'll watch it for free when my girl takes me to see it if I do finally end up givin a **** to even do so. Never know it might be James Wong's first good movie. Hasn't shown any sign of being the guy for the Job but we'll see right? Same as when I heard that the director of Lion King, a disney cartoon was helming Jet Li and Jackie Chan's first movie together. Obviously I predicted that it would suck when I knew America were behind the production and yet again a Caucasian was the star in an Asian setting.

The One was terrible if you know anything about Jet Li. Also Singer had Usual Suspects under his belt and Apt Pupil which were very well recieved mainstream Dramas.

LOTR has many variations from the source to the movie, that is my point, it ended good, harry Poter and Eragon too, it ended bad or meh, Spiderman from the comics, It ended good until the third movie that was not as good as the first 2, X men from the comics with the same result as Spiderman, , LOTR was great, and its true that it depends of the artist, but more on the history, but we can find things to complain from every movie before we see it.

King kong was good, but it was not LOTR success, the critics didnt like it as much and the box office was not as good, it was an ok movie, my faith is not for the director, is for the Franchise, even if is not a exact copy of it, having dinasours in a futuristic world or people with animals head will not be apealing to new viewers, i have faith in the characters, not the actors, and at least will be as Kung fu hustle kind of fights and humour, i hope the producer give some of that, then is ok for me.

Well your prediction was true with the forbiden kingdoom, but i hope you are wrong this time, not because the director, James wong was the one of the main reasons why X files is a cult nowdays, with a movie comming after years, and the Final Destinations were fun, at least number 1, not a oscar winner, but an ok movie, with that i repeat my faith is in the DB characters and fights, but i could agree with you after the trailer is show, i want to see Goku vs Piccolo, with blast and ki blast and kick butt fights, so i keep my hopes up.
