The Official Goku/Justin Chatwin Thread

Anyone heard of Forbidden Kingdom? It's an upcoming movie that stars Jackie Chan and Jet Li together for the first time. One of the characters finds the fabled Monkey King's staff, what we know as the "Power Pole" in the American dubbed Dragon Ball. It's basically Journey to the West but with big changes, which definitely wouldn't be the first time [i.e. Dragon Ball].

Yes, the trailer for that actually looks pretty cool. Wong and Chow better keep the Nyoi-bo in the story! If Forbidden Kingdom can do it, so can Dragon Ball.

All three... No. Not for Goku. Hugh Jackman is too rough, and would never be able to pull off the light-hearted side of Goku (which is his most prominant side). Chris Evans... Naw. The FF stigma is a terrible one he'll never be able to get rid of.

Well, well, I see someone got one of their Christmas gifts late this year. Snazzy. ;)

So, do you guys think we'll see Goku's ability to jump long distances before he learns how to fly?

More than likely. I think we can expect to see something similar to Crouching Tiger.

..........

Duuuuude, duuuuude....Blockbuster. Now.

So whats did you guys think of Chatwin`s performace in The Invisiable?

I thought he did pretty good in it...Im still waiting to see how well he`ll handle Goku

I always pictured young Jackie to be Goku and Jet to be Vegeta sigh maybe Jackie can be Grandpa Gohan

Dose anyone else want Goku to NOT say Kamehameha when he is doing the move? that would look WAY to stupid on screen. very cheesy.

If Chatwin thinks he'll say it cheesy, then he'll say it cheesy. It's all about getting into character.

Jet Li would make a horrible Vegeta. Tell me what you're smoking.

I remember the days when those rumors of a Dragon Ball Chan/Li duo were floating around. Thank the merciful God they never came to fruition. That would have been a disgraceful humiliation.

An outburst of "Kamehameha" is anything but cheesy in my book. Oolong is cheesy. That classic attack isn't.

That would've made being a DBZ fan a piece of work.
