I believe that the naive aspect of the character should always remain intact, no matter what, but for me, the idea of a teenage Goku is more appealing.

I was on Imdb and really there is more complaining then there is discussion about the film. People need to understand the concept of what an adaption is. People with hair styles as terrible as amy Whinehouse can be walking around it would look all out ******ed.

jesus christ i`ve just finished reading the leaked script from the movie and holy **** it blows hard.i noticed that goku has some funny dialogue in the movie.and that krillin appears like in 10 seconds.

I totally agree....why should they try to make them look like the anime & then have them look totally ridiculous. I hope that once the film actually comes out all this hate & negativity will be gone.

I actually read that script and was pretty much sickened by how terrible it was. Later on I foundd out it was entirely fake so I was pretty relieved

Yes. All this ridicule and negative posting about this film is completely unneccisary. I remember a couple months back when that promo came out, people were crying and screaming about how piccolo's color was different. Now he's green and people are still whining about his antennas being gone? Please... I understand why they changed his costume and all so im pretty much satisfied with piccolo.

i agree considering the title has "EVOLUTION" in it, i dont know why it shouldnt be a little bit different from the cartoon in fact is based on the original story so calm down and wait for the results.

Some people have complained that Goku isn't a child but honestly...would you rather have a 12 year old kid or younger annoying us to no end, and possibly ruin the film, or a teenage Goku portrayed by someone with talent? I prefer the latter, and Chatwin looks the part, no doubt. I'm hyped to see him in action.
