Happy 39th Birthday to Tobey Maguire

He does not look 39. At all.

Regardless, Happy Birthday T-Mags! :spidey:

Happy Birthday, Spidey! :)

And I agree with everyone here: Maguire does not age. I can't believe he's almost 40! Wowza!

Oh snap his b-day is one day before mine! :awesome: Spider-Destiny!

I'm sorry... but Kirsten was a GREAT MJ. The writers may have let her down from time to time, but I thoroughly enjoyed her performances in all three movies.

Plus, after recently watching All Good Things, it's become apparent how good of an actress she really is. I would highly recommend the movie for her alone.

She's pulled herself together recently and I hope her career picks up again soon.

She's hot too.

Not like, omg that's beyond supermodel ridiculously hot, but definitely easy on the eyes.

Toby probably could have still been Peter Parker in an alternate universe where the Raimi series continued.

I love Kirsten Dunst. The vitriol that people have for her baffles me. And I'm not even talking about her role as MJ ... I've heard people have really extreme reactions upon hearing her name. I don't get it.

And yes, I think she's a good actress. I've been a fan of hers since I saw Interview With The Vampire and The Virgin Suicides (which was way before I saw the Spider-Man movies). I also really loved her in Melancholia (I don't think it was a perfect movie or anything, but her performance was great). It's kind of a shame that she didn't get more credit for that movie because of Lars von Trier being a psycho at the Cannes Film Festival that year ...

And yeah, those pictures of her as MJ posted above ... I think she's always been really pretty. The things that angry fanboys say about her ("snaggletooth" seemed to be a popular term used against her back in the day, from what I remember) ... If they saw a girl who looked like that in real life, I highly doubt they'd say or think anything bad about her appearance! :funny:

Yeah, agreed. I like Kirsten. She seems to be a nice, grounded person.

Tomorrow marks 10 years since Spider-Man 2 hit theatres, really strange to think about that it's been a decade. I did this little thing as a tribute pretty quick today, these movies really did leave me with some real awe as a younger one and still do.

I remember it like it was yesterday. Spider-Man 2 is the reason I joined the Hype. My join date is the day the first trailer was released.

Still the best Spidey movie to date, IMO :spidey: :otto:

So many memories from that movie. I had just finished High School about a month prior to the films release. One of my favorites though is the song Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional.

Looks like tomorrow I'm watching Spider-Man 2. Will be my first time watching the Blu-Ray version!

Awesome picture!

And wow, 10 years since Spider-Man 2 came out to theaters. Memories! I was 17 years-old back then, and it was the first time I had gone to see a movie at a midnight screening (because I was so ridiculously hyped for it). It was also the first time I had gone to see the same movie more than once on the same day. The only other movie I've done that with has been The Avengers.

After all of these years, Spider-Man 2 is still my #1 favorite comic book movie, and is one of my all-time favorite movies. Spider-Man 2, in my opinion, has the biggest heart of any comic book movie to date. Spidey is a character that's been near and dear to my heart since I was a toddler, so this movie obviously means a lot to me. :spidey:

Also, that train scene is still the best action sequence of any comic book movie to date, IMO. It's still awesome.

It's what got me into superheros as a small child :) Crazy to think how much has changed in 10 years.
