Spider-man 3 got added to netflix recently so i just re-watched it and you know aside from a few (pretty big to be fair) flaws it wasn't the terrible movie I remembered it as?

It was actually relatively enjoyable and if not for too much studio involvement re: Avi arad, it could have been a decent film.

Is it still controversial to consider it a better films than TASM? because for me it was.

Not sure if its still controversial but I think so too and Im not embarrased to admit it.

I like it more than TASM and LIGHT YEARS more than TASM2. But that's just me. SM3 is definitely better than people give it credit for, that's for sure.

I can't see how Spider-Man 3 was ever good. The negatives outweigh the good

Had they done better with MJ,PP and SM's characterisations and ditched the retcon of Uncle Ben's death it would have went a long way for me liking the movie.

while I fell like asm2 is light years better then all the spider man movies other then sm2. There where just to many things with this movie. The acting wanst has good has sm1 and 2 and I didn't like that harry lost his mermory in the movie and for like half the movie. Plus things like him talking on the phone and eating cokies lol

The only scenes where I felt he came across as intimidating was the part where he humiliates Brock and the gernade to the face.

Dancing, checking out girls, eating cookies and milk just kinda made it hard to take those scenes seriously. Oh and the haircut, oh jesus! While the emo look was werid things like hair are non-important.

Raimi was able to use camp much for effictively in his first two films. In some cases, actually adds to the films.

I'm not sure if there was any substantial black suit footage cut to be perfectly honest. That shot appeared in a trailer and was the most attention grabbing image I could find from the deleted material haha.

In the novel, there was something about him swinging over to Harry's in the black suit, IIRC. I could be wrong, as I don't know the context of the scene obviously, but that's what I took it for lol. Also, that Bugle page is sweet
