ultimate x men yeah i love them in that. Well the idea of 'they totally ripped it off those cruddy movies' would be said again

Why? They dated before.

They didn't really "date", but they were really close friends. Kind of like he use to be with Hank. This was right around the time just before the whole Legion Quest arc began. In a nut shell, he and her became close after she kissed Gambit, and found out what he was responsible for (leading the Marauders).

Once that arc started (Legion Quest), you never heard anything more about their close friendship. Now, she's going through the same thing (only he's a Horseman), and Carey hasn't mentioned it. We'll see...

 

[Iceman]

He's a definite no show in #191, not even a mention, which is why I didn't buy it. Then in #192, he shows up for the mission. There's a couple of panels where everyone is on the X-Jet, and while he's sitting there, Mystique tries to open up to Rogue and says she wants to start being closer to her (emotionally), and Rogue reminds her about trying to kill Banshee, and killing someone else, and says the only reason why she chose Mystique to be on the team is because she doesn't trust her. And wants to keep a close eye on her. And that she will physically hurt Mystique if she does anything out of line.

Bobby is sitting next to both of them and hears the whole thing. His shades are on, so you really can't see what's on his mind. But you do see him in what appears to be deep thought. This is a couple of panels right after Rogue yells at Mystique. Then, once they get off the X-Jet, he ices up, and they confront the Children. Right away, he does a (movie Iceman/Pyro) standoff with Fuego, the fire dude, and it looks like Iceman is losing right away. Then, Fuego starts talking about himself being like a vampire, and drains the energy out of his victims. So the more Iceman turns on the cold, the more Fuego uses it to fuel his flames. And eventually, Iceman starts to melt right away. He screams out in pain, and there's nothing left of him except for a few puffs of mist and "essence sparkles". Fuego is standing there by himself, and says something to the effect of "goodbye Iceman". It's in Spanish, so I didn't understand the rest.

Now we have to wait until the end of the month to find out how he comes back, because according to the cover for the next issue, you can see Iceman's fingers at the top of the book. Man, I can't wait.

Oh yeah I read 191 but won't get 192 until next week. The 192 ending you described should hopefully give him the chance to do something cool

yeah he found her after that and they went on a road trip if i recall-considering him and rogue are the only goody really popular x men in this comic i would hope for more interaction.i thought he would be her second in command but that seems to be sam at present

I loved Bobby and Rogue and wanted them together after seeing them go see his parents together. I hate how their friendship has pretty much been dropped and I dont think they've ever even had one on one interactions since being on the same team since about X-men 157

Did you know that in the show "Spiderman and his Amazing Friends", Iceman had a younger sister that could control light?

Ironically, it was the very last episode of the show. (third season, episode 13)

I loved Bobby in the Spider-man cartoon. I thought he, Peter and Firestar worked really well together. I wish those 3 could have a teamup in 616

There is already a book that came out in the last two months called "Spiderfriends". It's a take on the very same cartoon. Only it's in today's time.

She was a New Warrior, but I don't know where she is these days. I think she still might be powered up. But what book she's in, I couldn't tell you at the moment.

OMG I liked Bobby with them too. Were him and Firestar fightning eachother right there? Or practicing or something? On a side note, I've been buisy collecting a few back issues of Uncanny, and a recent one included 283, in which Bishop appeared. He was absorbing energy from people's attacks (case in point: Storms lightning), but when when it came to Iceman, it seems as though he has some difficulites (in which he stated), he then was able to blast Iceman though. Why was that? I was confused with that.

I just now went through all of the entries, and I have to say that it's pretty extensive. Good job to whoever created these sprites... Or whatever they're called.

In the story, Spiderman and Iceman were already new partners to some degree. And along came Firestar. She had the least amount of experience, but still wanted to join. So she tried flirting with Spidey to get in, but he was already with Mary Jane. Iceman didn't like her at first, and they both had a bit of a falling out after her being so persistent. Then, Spidey had an idea to get them together in a romantic setting, and let them work things out. While they were eating and joking, Firestar melted something of Iceman's, so in return, he froze her spaghetti. They had a power stand off, when Iceman mentioned something about her pretty blue eyes (the expression on her face in the picture shown). She then stops fighting and gets sprayed with ice. From that point on, they become lovers, but at some point later on, they break up and blame Spidey for getting them together in the first place.... It's kind of a throwback to the tv series, with inside jokes, villains and scenes. Decent read, but a little boring for my taste.

The X-Kids beneath it is a different story from within the book. Spidey works for the Bugel and has to train Firestar and Iceman to do a paper route. It's a very short story, but gets tired after a while.
