Yeah, this is one of my top favorite versions of Iceman. AlthoughI'd prefer itif he lost the legs and went with the ice tenticle (not testicle) coming from his torso.

Yeah I agree. But still, I always thought he looked more "cool" in AOA.

My favorite depiction of Iceman is how he appeared in his standalone Iceman series a couple of years ago. You remember, the really bad one in a kind of manga style, with him going to Japan to meet Opal?

That was still how I'll always picture Iceman. Either as the snowboarder pictured above or as he looks now in the new First Class issue where he is held captive by that Norse demon or whatever it is.

I used to have that as my avatar, and I've been thinking about switching it back. Maybe in a bit, I like to cycle through my Iceman avatars

The BEST Iceman ever was Lobdell's Iceman during OZT. Dam he really upped Bobby's game and made him a force to be reckoned with. Too bad he left right after that arc and no writer has been able to match or even care do follow up on those developments. Looks like Carey might but only time will tell

Iceman followed Darstar through a portal leading into space, and created a sphere out of ice, to keep himself alive. Notice how he used the existing ice from his body to create the sphere, while he stays inside. Pretty impressive for him at such a young age. And of course this was years before he was bumped up to Omega class status.

I really don't think it matters, so long as he's not dead, out in space, or in limbo.

If you had been following Mike Carey's run for the last 9 months, you probably would have noticed the blonde hair a long time ago. Otherwise, it's all in the colorist's interpretation.

Here's a picture of Iceman that I drew over the weekend. The FATAL ATTRACTIONS story line inspired me. Besides, it was the arc that got me back into comics.

I like your take on it, the Hulk-type Iceman. The thing is Bobby tends to use his powers in more creative manners than simply bulking up. Sure, he's done that before, but the majority of his mutant powers result in something more tactical than brute force.

In the annual, Mystique turns turquoise after creating spikes out of her skin.... Although, I think it's just the colorist that made the mistake. Still, it's a nice color on her.
