ADVANCE PREVIEW: "Incredible Hulks" #615

Yea, Skaar is way too small, and Rick does look a lil too chubby. The only guy who looks right is Korg.

I'm gonna wind up reading it. I'm too weak to resist Thor, even in Hulk now that Loeb's gone. :csad:

Hulk #25 was great. #26 looks just as good, but I wish they didn't ruin 25's cliffhanger in the preview.

Also wish there was more news on the Hulk TV series. The approach could be make-or-break, so I'd like to hear it sooner rather than later.

[BLACKOUT]Return of the Devil Hulk?[/BLACKOUT]

What's the second pic, to the right? I can see the 1st pic in the spoiler, but there's a broken image box to the right of it.

I only put in one, and it's displaying the right way for me. So...I 'unno.

Hiro Kala is one screwed up Son of a Hulk!

He's a great villain, though it's wierd because at first he seemed to be molding into a tragic hero. Interesting.

I have (what may be) a silly question regarding Hulk hardcover volumes.
I just got Hulk: World War Hulks vol. 6 as a gift. And I want to collect the books prior to this volume, but can't seem to find "WWH vol. 1-5"

(It says vol. 6 on the spine, but when I look it up online it comes up as HULK: WORLD WAR HULKS)

What I did find were these:

Incredible Hulk: Son of Banner
Incredible Hulk Vol. 2: Fall of the Hulks
Incredible Hulk Vol. 3: World War Hulks
Incredible Hulk Vol. 5: Fall of the Hulks

...after typing this out I realized I am missing a 4th volume, but my question originally was: "are these books what I need to read? Are they the chronological story?"

Please help, I'm very curious.

Thanks.

It appears the World Wars Hulks you got was the Jeph Loeb-penned story, which is volume six in Hulk book. Fall of the Hulks and World War Hulks were inter-comic crossovers, where the story was told in the 'Hulk' book, and the 'Incredible Hulk' book.

The Greg Pak story, overall, is:

1)Planet Hulk
2)World War Hulk
3)Skaar: Son of Hulk
4)Planet Skaar
5)Incredible Hulk: Son of Banner
6)Fall of the Hulks
7)World War Hulks (Greg Pak)

At least, that's my recommendation. You can of course choose to get the Loeb trades.

Trade paperbacks (or hardcovers, as the case may be) that are reprinted from comics usually list where the stories originally appeared...what comics are in the volume you have?

I typically only read comics, not trades, so i'm more familiar with the reading order that way, but to the best of my research if you want a complete Hulk read in trades I suggest (in chronological order):

Illuminati oneshot (single issue)
Planet Hulk
World War Hulk
World War Hulk: Warbound
Hulk Red Green Vol. 1
Hulk Red Green Vol. 2
Skaar: Son of Hulk
Incredible Hulk: Planet Skaar
Hulk: Son of Hulk - Dark Son Rising
Hulk vol. 3 - Hulk No More
Hulk vol. 4 - Hulk vs X-Force
Incredible Hulk vol. 1: Son of Banner
Realm of Kings: Son of Hulk
Incredible Hulk vol. 2: Fall of the Hulks
Hulk vol. 5: Fall of the Hulks
Incredible Hulk vol. 3:World War Hulks
Hulk vol. 6: World War Hulks
Incredible Hulks Dark Son Rising

I'm not sure if the bolded items are titled right or are even released yet but I know the stories and I think those would be the best place for them. Dark Son Rising is still going on right now actually so I know that's not out. There's also some minis and such that could technically be thrown in there but I don't think they're necessary. I know there's a Savage She-Hulk mini that should probably be thrown in there but I've not read it so I don't know where it would go.

As for the Fall of Hulks and the World War Hulks, those individual issues were telling their own story but still influenced each other. They had a problem of ruining things between the two titles though and it was annoying. Incredible Hulk was the better read so if you're reading in trade format I suggest alternating Inc. with Hulk reading Inc. first.
