Dude, seriously, if you don't like what's posted in this thread & don't like Jason White, it's simple: DON'T POST ANYTHING ABOUT HIM.

Oh come on, whatever happened to "If you've got nothing nice to say, say nothing at all"?

Oh wait, thats right, the anonymity of the internet. My bad.:ninja:

So...er, the topic is about whether Superbaby should be killed off or not....

bad choice to kill him, but I bet we'll never know.

The problem with killing him off would be that you have to connect him emotionally in some sort of sequel to the film. Which basically means you'll be stuck together with the brat for years. Why not say the kid has no powers in the first place, and when Richard and Lois break up, make some excuse for him to go with his father, then you never have to mention him again.

With the constant signs pointing to no sequel, Jason White may already be dead hypothetically. Good Riddens.

Its ok to have hope...I guess.

Not when the project is dead and not at the expense of spamming up the board with "I'm sure it will be made". What does that bring to the discussion? I understand that the lovers will delude themselves into believing anything, but from what we know, enough already. Fact are facts.

You are preaching to the choir my friend....

I wonder if many of the Jason detractors are so against his presence in the series because of the monumentally weak point it creates in Clark's life. We don't really want to think of Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent having chilren because that means with a family, it creates a very big proverbial chink in their armor.

Maybe we want the only thing to bring down Superman is that good 'ole Kryptonite. We only want Superman rescuing US, not his own family. we've all gotten too accustomed to Clark saving ONLY us. We've all gotten too accustomed to us being the only people in his life, so to speak.

Sometimes it just seems that some fans are prone to a little green-eyed jealousy over Jason's presence in the storyline.

Although I'm personally excited over Jason, I'm not so sure the current team can carry the weight. The hard part wasn't introducing Jason. The hard part will come doing the kid justice.

Nice post. :)

On other people saying that those of us that want a sequel should face facts. I say what facts? It's all gossip at the moment. Now if Singer works on other films next year and not the Superman sequel then I'll face that fact. Until then it's all gossip.

If MOS is ever made, it should have crossover villains. One of them kidnaps Superbaby
