I need to change this title to:

Advice & recommended reading for whoever is chosen as Jigsaw.

People are strange. He seemed interested and when he doesn't get it...he trashes the prospects of doing it. Like reading a script is a waste. It's not even if you don't get the role it's a privilage.

He should of just kept his mouth shut in the first place, and no one would have known he didn't get the part. But since he's Mr. Big Mouth he should just give up the name he lost the role to. He would have been all into the Punisher if he got the role, but since he didn't he called the Punisher movies ****e and that Lexi's movie was a complete mess.

I don't know exactly your question. But if you mean, what if it is true that Punisher movies suck and Lexi can't direct? If he really felt that way he should have said no in the beginning. It's easy, just say no I don't want any part of this movie, thanks but no thanks. I didn't see any bad mouthing from him until he lost the part.

I'm not defending him in anyway, but he's a young talented actor that has been in a lot of movies, and when you are in his shoes, you'd probably feel a bit cocky as well.

If he had the urge to announce he was offered the role and then bashed the movie after they took it away from him, then he must have been interested at first and was dissapointed that the studio would pull the rug out from under his feet like that before he got a chance to say yes or no.

Fantastic birtish actor he was in Bourne Ultimatum (the reporter) and Hot fuzz (also Deadmans shoes and a few music videos)

He has an amazing range, and great with accents

He was being considered or offered the role before MVL/LGF pulled it. So just in case he got it (since he was beign social online) I linked him to this thread. Now that he's out...I had the title generalized.

....so how does he come to the conclusion that it's "****e" or a "complete mess" when he's never read the script?

The only blessing is that I didn't waste over an hour of my life watching a movie with this untalented hack as the main villain. That be the way of the film world.

This morning I woke to some readers pointing at Considine's blog (thanks to "G" and "Lord Cranium" for the heads up) and also a note from Lexi Alexander, the director, confirming this. She said she couldn't spill who the actor is, but did say that he was awesome and perfect for the part. She was also very nice about Considine, saying how big a fan of his she is and how she'd love to work with him at some other point.

I did get the impression from someone who knows someone who knows someone that the actor that he or she thinks may or may not be Jigsaw is NOT a big name.

Trust me I'm excited. I thought it was weird he would have been considered for Jigsaw but figured LGF saw something. I'm more happy he's gone betting the 1st choice is a better fit for the role.
