Everyone keeps suggesting Cavill for Supes and then someone looked at the star of the Tudors to play Lex -> Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I think that's a real interesting suggestion. He's a great actor and can play a great villain. He can sell a very smooth, calmed and controled type of evil.

i will be honest.
he looks like a 100% model.and a young one. so iMO in nooo way lex luthor material. i think he fits as a villain in story about King Henry VIII but not as LL.

he can be young and hot. i htink the biggest problem is that when i see him i think only about a model.

fact is that after TDK they will ned to writte a good LL: spacey could be the definition of an evil villain in a superhero movie. but of course singer had otehr plans so he made him a ''jokeman''.
after TDK we all know that people like sadistic viilains. so the new LL needs to be avery good.

Baldness or even youth isn't really the problem for me. The problem with Rhys-Meyers as Luthor is his body type. Lex is a built guy, Honestly, Spacey was nearly perfect look-wise, and they should go for the same kind of casting this time around. I dont want a skinny Lex.

I actually really like Jason Isaacs for the role. He's the right age, a good actor, has the right face for Lex, and the right build.

you know i just had a glimpse of Daniel Day Lewis sitting in his office and talking to Supes while he stands there with his arms crossed in absolute anger while, Daniel (imageing Gordon)rants on just the way he did in that scene. that could be a classic scene if they portray lex that way.

yea your right about dialogue.....lol....i know i was a little disapointed after i watched on dvd...i didnt notice it to much when i watched it the first time.

but you would need someone really good to get him in a superman movie. the guy is playing in only oscar type movies.
