I feel like Kyle Rayner will get the live action shaft, unless they rework his origin. John Stewart seems to be the GL guy for the new DCU.

That said, I would love to see Kyle Rayner get some animated love. I still think adapting Emerald Twilight would be awesome to see.

The way I see it is that if the speculation of Hal not surviving the season proves accurate, someone will need to inherit his ring.

Yeah I think we’ll see Kyle in season 2. Maybe Jessica too. I’m not as familiar with her because I had stopped reading comics by the time she showed up, but hell yes to Rachel Zegler.

For Kyle… Freddy Miyares (When They See Us, DMZ) might be good.

It’s too bad Xolo was cast as Blue Beetle. He would have made an awesome Kyle.

Absolutely love this idea. Gunn follows him on instagram and I think like Nicholas Hoult he’s an engaging enough personality to help sell the film at premieres plus he’s such a talented guy

I’m curious what Gunn meant by “grounded sci-fi”. As in, it has to stick to science? Or grounded to earth like Men in Black? What do you think?
