He wasn't bad in Gattaca, Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. This guy can act. He's no Lex... but he can act.

Damon is a fantastic actor and would be an amazing Lex. IMHO. He's one of my favorite actors.

I remember rumors He turned down the role of Harvey Dent in TDK. Any truth to that? Damon as Lex would certainly be outside the box.

He was too busy at the time in an interview he did with Morgan Freeman during Invictus I believe. But when asked about his favorite superhero he said thanks to Chris Nolan he's really gotten into Batman lately.

Younger acclaimed actor Lex : Ryan Gosling
Older Big name Lex: Russell Crowe. He's always been my top choice and given that they went with an Older established Adams for Lois , I think casting a 40 something Lex would be alright. The guy can do the role in his sleep.
