I hate the idea of Clooney as Lex but then I'm not a Clooney fan.

When I say I want a young Lex I don't even mean one exactly the same age as Cavill. I'd take an 40 to 50 year old actor provided he has a more youthful feel than Hackman/Spacey Lex. And if the older actor is an awesome one then I'd gladly give up my dream of a younger Lex getting the bigscreen treatment.

I'm not really a Cooney fan myself, I think he's a jaclass, but he has what I want in Luthor.

I love Clooney; the only actor who rebounded after Batman & Robin! I dont know why you think he's a jackass though; my friend met up once at a premiere and he came off as a down to Earth guy.

I don't mean personally, I mean I was never wild about him as an actor. And yes, I've watched him in a real movie, I just don't think that he is as great as everyone says. He's decent to me and thats it.

I meant what Antman said, when he thought Clooney is a jackass.

I think Clooney does play himself alot, but at the same time, it does remind me of the 'classic' leading man that Cary Grant or Gregory Peck was. Suave and confident.

He just rubs me the wrong way in interviews. Great actor though.

I'm pretty f**king left leaning and he rubs me the wrong way too but atleast he is doing good things for people all over the world. You can't knock that.

I'm a Dem too, and I know I can't.

Who are you a fan of SPIDEY?

fassebender if he was'nt mags would of been a good handsome lex

He would've been perfect.

It could still happen. 2 different universes. 2 completely different characters. He'd look different and have a different accent. Look at 300 and Hunger. He's a chameleon.

I said that Keaton is ONE of the coolest. Oldman is definitely number 1 with RDJ a close second. Keaton third.

I don't really have a number one pick anymore. I guess I still like Joaquin Phoenix for the role if he stays normal and people forgive him acting like an A-hole for attention. Thats been my fancast forever.

IF they don't go for a big name, I'm still hoping for Oscar Isaac. I've seen him in 5 movies now and he's seemed like a different actor in each one. But always interesting. He's a major talent just waiting for a breakout, imo. Plus, he looks the part and has worked with Snyder.

he was the best actor in sucker punch, although hamm only had like a minute total.

He could do a great lex.

I would like to see an actor who's best known for heroic roles. Maybe Daniel Craig or something. I even like the Clooney suggestion.

I'd like it to be one of those "turning the public persona on its head" type performances.

I don't know about Daniel Craig as Lex Luthor but he played great villains in Road To Perdition and Infamous. Did good American accents in both too.

I think he's filming Sherlock Holmes so he's probably can't do it but I always thought that Jude Law would be an excellent Lex Luthor.

I know Matt wanting him for Supes once upon a time but I also liked him more for Luthor.
