Here's a left-field choice that hasn't been mentioned before, just to get a different name in the mix. How about Brit actor Stephen Graham?

He's a great, great actor, who was absolutely brilliant in This is England. He's long been overdue some recognition Stateside, and he may now be getting it with Boardwalk Empire - which shows he can pull off the American accent.

The downside is that he typically plays more thuggish characters, so portraying a classier type of villain might be casting against type. But I think he's talented enough to bring a really exciting dimension to the role.

I know im going to get Flamed for this but... I liked him in... Titanic. Ok, there its out there for the world. lol I feel that with the right inspiration and direction Lex is an easy part for him.

Henry Cavill is white, black-haired, and blue-eyed. What's your point? Just because an actor looks similar to the character doesn't mean the casting isn't "inspired."

Nothing against Zane, I actually supported him back in the pre SR days, but I think they'll cast a better known actor for Lex, someone like Craig, Brolin, Isaccs, Depp.
If Zane does get it tho, then great.
