I hope that Rebecca Hall gets casted because if she is casted, then all of the people here who are so adamant that someone else should be casted would be really angry that their oh-so-perfect choice has not been casted, while someone that they thought should not be casted because they didn't like her looks has been casted instead. Such hostility towards even the idea of someone being casted just because she doesn't resemble the perfect actress you had imagined would be casted makes me want to root for Rebecca even more and hope she is casted. If casted, that would be an indication that the director who casted her saw something special in her that deemed her worthy of being casted, and of why all of the actresses that you determined should be casted were not casted.
this post has all sorts of win written all over it...haha!!!

your posts are getting more cryptic, man. you don't have to tell us what you know, but answer me this...DO you know something or are you just expressing your prediction?

Maybe you should see her other roles then. That 70's Show has been off the air for a while; I'm kind of tired of hearing about it the same way I am about people saying they only hear Meg.

I've seen her in other roles including Family Guy...she can't escape That 70's Show...not yet at least anyway

Me too. If he's ****in' with us I'm gonna hunt him down, cut his balls off and feed 'em to him. :cmad:

I couldn't take her seriously...and once you get typecast as something it becomes her problem

But when you're the only one that can't take her seriously it's your problem. Plenty of people applauded her serious turn in Black Swan. She's not typecast as anything. Is her part in Forgetting Sarah Marshall anything like Jackie Burkhart? No. Is her part in Black Swan anything like her part in Forgetting Sarah Marshall? No.

No professional ever mentioned Jackie or Meg when reviewing her performances in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Max Payne, Book of Eli, or Black Swan. :whatever:

Yeah surely the Lois casting can't be far away now. Fingers crossed its Olivia.

Yeah, the screen test process should be completed by now. It has to be between Wilde and McAdams and whoever had the best chemistry with Cavill during the tests.

I'm thinking Wilde is going to get it unless her scheduling can't be worked out and we should hear something within 4 weeks.

I honestly don't see McAdams taking it though. I mean she turned down working with Nolan on BB(I don't remember if she was approached for TDK), Favreau on the Iron Man movies, and if I remember correctly, the Fantastic Four movies as well. I don't see her wanting to do a comic movie at all.

Source? I don't recall any concrete reports with her being involved in any capacity.

And while she has a history of turning down comic book roles, I'd say that's largely due in part to the talent behind those productions being unproven.

Exactly because she has been in so many high profiles action/sci fi/geek movies I think she has no reason to accept another one. I think it's time to her prove she's a really good actress, in a different kind of movie. She's already famous, she's already A-list, she's already has a lot od job offers, so she just doesn't need this role.

Of couse I can be wrong, I'm just being realistic, maybe if WB wants her, they offer a big amount of money that she couldn't decline.

By the reasons I posted in the last post, I think the actresses who really need this role are MEW, Biel and Agron, from the shorlist (Bell will star a new TV show). I think Agron is too young, but we never know, she has the same profile as Lively...so I think the bigger chances are for Biel and MEW.

Totally disagree. I feel she would snatch this up, like most actresses, if offered. I think that because she is an A-list, has movies coming out in the next year or so, and her large fan base, that just makes her a better choice. With Henry being unknown, her new stardom will help the film I think. And she obviously enjoys action movies the most.

And about Biel and MEW as being bigger chances, I doubt either will get casted. Biel is boring, in looks and acting skills IMO. And MEW is one of my least favorite choices. Nothing about her seems like Lois to me.

My bet is that it is between Wilde and McAdams.

The way you called her a horse and posted the pics was very immature, that is why they were deleted and why people are calling you childish.
I don't see how I am offending anybody here on the boards that constitute for my posts getting deleted. Almost all the posters make fun of actresses here and there, Lohan a ****e, Greene is Michael Jackson, etc. etc.....

What is childish is kids here taking advantage of the report link

to prove some point rather than using it in the proper way.

Just sayin'

I think may have been thinking of TDK as Holmes' replacement. Google searches support this mistake.

Umm, I'm not a Nolan fanboy but he's been a proven director for a while.

Not in terms of the big scale production. It wasn't until TDK that his name actually became something worthwhile for mainstream film. Inception only cemented that status.

McAdams was not some big name starlet when Batman Begins came out, she was just starting out in terms of Hollywood; she was just as unproven herself as Nolan was a director.

I thought we had just agreed Rachel was only considered by Nolan for TDK? By then she had already starred in 3 back-to-back-to-back hits. Her name has fizzled since then, but at the time she was most certainly one of the top young actresses in Hollywood.

I think she could use this film. Aside from Sherlock she hasn't had a noteworthy role in a while. Playing one of the most iconic female roles would help sustain her career for a good while, netting her the success and credibility to work on other films.
