She sounds nothing like Ellen. Ellen's voice grates my ears, and Bledel doesn't. Again, just an intriguing idea. It could be too out there for all I know.

Sophia Bush has all the qualities of Lois Lane, moreso than any actress named in this 6 part thread. No one else even comes close.

I think it's an excellent point that you have to have a Lois that is unattainable for Clark. Obviously that's a classic part of the chemistry -- his frustration that he can't show her who he really is.

But I think you need to be careful with what drives her sort of indifference to Clark. If she is too hot, it may come off as she's just a super attractive ***** and the lack of interest in Clark comes is a superficial appearance-based issue. She's hot stuff and he's the nerd with glasses for whom she has no time, if you will. That's not what Lois and Clark are about. Instead, Lois is the hyper-driven career woman out to get the next great story. And Clark is the small-town fluff piece reporter. Its his lack of stature and vigor, rather than his appearance (from a sexual standpoint, at least) that puts him "beneath" Lois in her mind.

That's why I worry about someone like Wilde, who has a very exotic-hot look to her. I think the more natural look may be better.

Just wanted to interject...

Saw Rachel McAdams in Morning Glory last night. She's one of the best choices for the role of Lois Lane...bar-none.

Very good flick by the way.
