The actors race is irrelevant to me, MM can look like anyone or anything he wants. I just want the best actor for the role.

I'd prefer a talented unknown who wouldn't demand too much screne time, I'd like to see MM in his martian/or superhero look for more than half the film. I also think a lower salary for the star could translate into more cash for the effects budget, because Jonn should definately be a cgi character.

That would probably work out for the best. I still say have a phyiscal actor in a posthestic suit with cgi enhancements would be the best way to go. I wouldnt want to just see a totally cgi characters running around for 2hrs.

I would love to see a Martian Manhunter solo movie in the near future, the character is so under-utilised yet so awesome, plus I love his powers, etc.

I think Crudup would do a great job, although he's my top pick for Riddler.

So i was wondering guys what do you prefer for MM a white guy playing him or an african american guy.

There aren't too many white guys that could do the MM voice, but whoever is right for the role.

Personally I'd prefer a black actor since the rest of the cast is white (and I want Hal Jordan for the sake of JLA history; not John Stewart).
