Halo 4 writer Chris Schlerf is now Lead Writer for ME4.

I didn't care much for H4's plot but I really found the Cortana/Chief stuff to be pretty powerful.

BioWare Considering Mass Effect Remake

The Mass Effect games may be heading back to Earth with a new coat of paint. BioWare has asked fans what they’d like to see in a potential next-gen re-release of the Mass Effect trilogy. New features include better graphics and textures, all of the DLC, and a seamless story experience that branches all three games together. If you want to let BioWare know what you think should be in the set, you can tell them by heading over to this NeoGAF forum thread. BioWare is also working on a fourth Mass Effect game, which will take the series in a different direction with new characters and locations. That’s still in the early stages of development, so it’s unclear when it will hit Earth.

I've long hoped they'd remake the first game with the shooty engine from 2/3. A full on remake of all three for next gen would be pretty keen, assuming they don't halfass it.

I'm pretty sure that was already possible in ME3.

Kaiden became bisexual sometime between ME2 and 3. As did male Shep for that matter.

ME1-2: Streamline the stats and inventory to mimic the third game. Give Shepard infinite running stamina. Please.

3: Do something with the difficulties. I might think of more later.

One common problem in ME1 was the loading of facial layers. Especially on Saren... for some weird reason.

Oh yes I remember having that too. I really can't wait to replay this game with modern day visuals and the combat of its sequels if they go for it.
