Next month the demand for this thing is gonna skyrocket due to Mario. That **** always sells, especially because it's an actual sequel in the series and not another Land or World.

Yeah, I am damn glad I got mine when I did. Even with the stock seeming to stick around now (saw 3 or 4 in Target the other day), it is going to be rough with the holidays upcoming.

Though, I do love those Mario Joycons...

New Super Mario is more of a spinoff thing. When I said main console entry, Im referring to the titles Terry mentioned

I wouldn't count those as spinoffs, at all. Those are full fledged Mario games. Spinoffs would be Mario Kart, Mario Golf, Smash, RPG, Paper, Party, etc.

Now you are getting into semantics. You know what we mean

I was agreeing with you(except for Galaxy2, which is a sequel). I was just correcting you when you said there were no true sequels outside of World. Yes, World2 is an off shoot of what SMW1 was. Other than that, all the New Mario ones are true Mario gamse.

That's not semantics, that's just the truth. The New series isn't an offshoot, in fact, it's more inline than say M64, Sunshine, or Galaxy, which I do consider true Mario games, as well.

Just realized Resident Evil Revelations 1&2 are only $39. With my Amazon Prime it knocks it down to $34 and that's ****ing cool. That makes it a must buy. Though, I'd buy that **** at any price. I want RE on Switch bad.

Though, I am making plans on an SDHC card, since only RE: Revelations 1 is the only one on the cart. Don't think 2 will be too large, though.

Shouldn't have NBA2k17's 5 gig save files, though.

Link?

If true I'll probably just buy the whole shebang digitally and skip the physical. I've got a 64gb sd in my Switch. Plenty o' room

Hmmm individually available is interesting. $19.99 a piece I wonder? If so I'll skip the first one. Played it through on 3DS and Wii U. Don't need to do it again.

I know Nintendo was trying to be different and what not but I don't think they thought through this SD card thing considering how big some of these damn games are. I'm nervous about Bethesda's stuff.

Eh I don't know. It's not too expensive to get a hefty micro sd. It'll certainly add up, but for stuff I knew was going to be big like Breath of the Wild I opted for the physical edition.

Cards are coming down in price. And they have future proofed it to handle some potential future card in the TB size.

Though, the big problem is third parties refusing to splurge for the bigger cartridge size for games. That is going to be an obstacle for third party games finding success on the Switch.

Also, maybe find a way so that the save files, which have to go onto the 32 gb of the Switch's internal memory, aren't eating it all up. Still can't believe NBA2k has a 5 gig save file.

I remember people kept saying the same thing about the Vita when Sony went with cards and the prices barely budged. The prices for SD cards have been fairly consistent for years. They arent really dropping that fast

A third party can splurge on a larger size but best beleive they will pass that cost onto the consumer. Its being done indirectly by requiring an SD card but they'd definitely raise the price if they were t do it directly by putting the game on a 64gb card. I cant recall the title but I know of at least one Switch game that is more expensive than its PS4/XB1 counterpart bc of the media its on

So the golf game hidden on Switch is there as a tribute to Iwata. It is apparently being called an omamori in Japan. Which is apparently a charm you can buy at shrines for luck and protection.

And I am crying.

I really enjoyed the portable option when I took my car in to get some work done.

I love the switch.

My best friend is not and has never been a Nintendo fanboy like I am, but he's in love with his Switch. Brings it anyplace he knows he can play.

I want them to bring over Mario Maker. I went back to playing it, and I've been having a lot of fun with the game.

I think it would be an easy game to bring over.
