I want to know more about Gaikai streaming. I'd consider trading in my PS3 and most of the games (keep the ones I want the boxes for like God of War & Uncharted) and getting the PS4 at launch if I can repurchase and play PS3 games at pretty much the same quality as a PS3 disc.

I will hold onto all of my PS3 games. The Gaikai service sadly won't be something for me. To get the best out of a streaming service and with no lag, you'll have to rely on servers in your city. The thing is though, I mostly own imported games, because they are uncut, or otherwise not available in my country. If I want to play those same games, I'd have to stream them from servers that are overseas. That would probably be some laggy experience.

Damn, had no idea since I own a 360. I hope PS4 lets us change names, but if not, oh well.

I take it that this was nothing more than just a tech demo to show how the animations have been improved. It definitely looks great and was also hilarious, but I was hoping to see some kind of gaming.

Yup,The beginning of it clearly states it's a concept video and not from a title in development and in the description box it also states it's just a tech video

Are you in Germany? I think I remember that. I had a German friend on Gears of War 2 and he had to do that. Had to do certain things for DLCs and map packs for imported games that I can't quite remember.

I guess I need to test Gaikai on my own system at home before I commit to getting rid of the system. I want to be able to play GoW3 & Uncharted 2&3 whenever I want & without lag. Ah well, it's good having one more blu-ray player in the house.

Yeah I want to change my PSN account name as I hardly ever used it (played at my neighbour's house on his account) and want it to just have top games on there, not the crap I would have had when I bought at launch. Would like an XBox gamertag and PSN ID that are the same. Might change both. If it's not possible I'll probably just start a new PSN ID.

No I'm not joking, those photos are from Engadget and they may not mention of silver. I really think its the way the lights reflect off the surface. If I'm wrong and they announce a silver SKU I promise I'll admit my wrongness
