I loved N+ on my PSP. I look forward to its sequel on Vita

inFamous Dev Diary shows off/talks about the PS4 controller in pretty good detail:

I think the indie stuff was really more important for the Vita, than the PS4. Original reports said Gamescom would have a heavy focus on the Vita and that's what happened. It shows Sony is behind it and pushing new original titles for it. Personally, I think Id prefer those smaller scale titles on a handheld than on my PS4 so if I were to get a Vita, that would be the place Id play them. Im not a big fan of playing a retail like experience like God of War for example on a handheld so the indie stuff is very welcomed.
Yeah, best place for it. I don't need to play indies on the big screen with the sound system and I don't need to play the top AAA stuff on a small screen. Best of both worlds this way.

Another better video of the UI demo:

Starting to hear rumblings that the PS4's 3D (graphics) performance is significantly ahead of Micrsofts due to Sony supporting hUMA.. (Heterogeneous Uniform Memory Access)

Somewhat explained from NeoGaf user W!ICKED

"PS4 will have hUMA wich means that you no longer need a distinction between CPU partition and GPU partition. Both processors can use the same pieces of data at the same time. You don't need to copy stuff and this allows for completely new algorithms that utilize CPU and GPU at the same time. This is interesting since a GPU is very strong, but extremely dumb. A CPU is extremely smart, but very weak. Since you can utilize both processors at the same time for a single task you have a system that is extremely smart and extremely strong at the same time."

Anybody in the US wanting to preorder a launch PS4? I don't know how fast Amazon updates this stuff, but I'm sitting on two launch console preorders and I'm getting ready to cancel one. The one in question isn't a bundle, just the system.

Can you like...trade that to other users? Or just, what, put in whoevers shipping address instead of your own for one?

If someone wanted to do it that way, I would obviously need payment info as well.

I was hoping that I could cancel it and the store page would automatically update saying there's one available. I don't know if that's how it works though. Just a thought.

Could you do something through Paypal maybe instead? I don't know if one would just pop up like that if you canceled, maybe.

I'm really sorry, but an IRL friend and I worked something out. Sorry. :/

i'm holding off on pre-orders for now...waiting to see if any interesting bundles pop up as it gets closer

Will cloud just be PS+ exclusive again?,How much memory can it hold now?,I'm planning to go more digital But if my PS4 were to mess up and had to get it replaced or something then would all saves automatically go into the cloud storage?

It does on PS3 when I turn on the feature for each game But sometimes it says it doesn't have enough memory for it

Wasn't there already several bundles? I don't foresee anymore coming up, you're probably too late to get any of those.

Will the PS4 play more custom music for games like the 360?,Not many games allow it and I want to be listening to my own tracks off&online for games like Battlefield/Call of Duty/DC Universe/WWE games/Destiny and when or IF there's ever a GTA V port

They mentioned this during the Gamescom and confirmed that PS4 will have custom soundtracks. Theres confusion though bc they revealed it when talking about Music Unlimited, so not clear if you will need to be a subscriber to that and use that catalog for the feature. I hope not

It's such a shame the ps4 or Xbox can't synch with your iPod or phone and get all your music from that. It's such a pest to save all the CDs to your gamin device.

Of course, you can always just have your iPod/phone next to you while you play

Why don't you just stream your library from your PC to your PS3? Its simple enough. If you cant do that, you can always drag your music files onto your iPod and then plug it into your PS3 to play or transfer.

I don't think I've ever played a game with custom sound tracks. Maybe Burnout Paradise.

if there's any music or video file I want to play on my PS3, I just copy it to a USB stick and use that to transfer the files to the PS3.

hopefully it will be that simple on the PS4, too.

Has there been any mention on IF there will be updates to apps like Netflix?,I really miss how it was in early 360's where you can watch all Netflix content with a group of friends who also had accounts,Was like a pvt party chat But able to watch stuff and could watch full screen or your avatar sitting with your friend's avatars in a little theater watching a screen

I use my own music mainly with the Need for Speed & Skate games, I even remember using it with Batman Arkham City at times when doing the challenge modes or just gliding around the city. A bunch of other games as well. Recently, Sleeping Dogs had it which was awesome since it's a sandbox game and there's so much to do in it and I could have my own music playing in the game even when on foot.

I try it for practically every other new game I start playing because sometimes that ability isn't mentioned on the back of the game, and it's a nice function in case you need something else to listen to while you take a break or play. I probably have about 2-3gb of music on my PS3, I put in a 500gb drive so it's never really an issue with space. Games, movies, music, photos, I hope the transition to PS4 will keep a lot of what I love with how I use my PS3.
