Walked into my EB... The one girl was running PS4 down something fierce.. I was beyond annoyed to hear the BS I heard.

Downloading something to play. Having all the games on the console will be awesome... a few days after launch. Maybe I'll download Resogun first since that will go the quickest.

Will you play a downloadable game before something like Killzone/BF4/AC4? Just interested in how everyone does it. With a new console I'll put in whatever I feel is the most next-gennish 1st (assuming this play as you install thing works). Then probably investigate the new OS and navigation of that. Then try all the other features and media stuff and 5-10 mins of every other launch game I get before really settling down to play something to make some real progress.

I'm not getting an discs, so downloading Killzone will most likely take some time. Resogun is under a GB, the play as you go Killzone download is over 7GB, so by default I'll be able to play the smaller games first.

The midnight launch should be fun, I plan on playing KZ first just because I got it first and it's been waiting, AC4 shortly after. CoD will wait til the next day because some of my friends won't be able to attend d the midnight. I'll pretty much download every free game I can just to blest them out.

Pre-ordering from Amazon usually gives the option of "Release Date Delivery", which is 2 day shipping and is also free if you are a Prime member.

Check your estimated delivery date. Mine is set to 2 day shipping but I will be getting it on the 15th because it's the release day delivery.

Yea my delivery estimate is actually quite specific, it says by 8 pm on the 15th, so looks like release date delivery for me

Damn. I didn't even register that it was the weekend after next. I'll be on hols till the weekend after that.

Which are the free games on that exclusives list? I need to make sure my friend gets Killzone, BF4 & AC4. That's probably the order I'll try them. Maybe 20 mins SP & a MP match of Killzone. The intro and 1st 5 minutes of the campaign of BF4 and a MP match and then get set for a night of next gen AC4.

That should be part of the official protocol. Open box, smell for 30 mins then sit and stare at it for a further hour before doing anything.

I still need to figure out where Im going to put this thing. I have a 2 shelf TV stand. Top shelf is my PS3 and games and bottom shelf is BRs. I really have no free space on there and considering the PS4 is not BC, I wont be moving my PS3 anytime soon

I'm going to go digital for games with good MP or with SP I know I'll want to play again. One-off games that I'll probably bang through and have no interest playing again will be physical.

For launch, I took advantage of the PSN "spend $50 get $10 back" promotion they had going on in October (and the general lack of sales tax) and pre-ordered Killzone, COD, and Battlefield 4. All games with MP I'll play over the next year or so. Those, plus the PS+ games and all the f2p games will be plenty to keep me busy until inFamous.

Whenever I pick up AC, it'll probably be physical. The only other launch window game I'm interested in is Need for Speed, but I'm waiting on some reviews to decide on that one.

Hmm I dunno what the first thing I will do. I plan on buying my games at Target the buy 2 get one free. I'm thinking Knack, Battlefield 4 and Killzone: Shadow Fall.

I will probably browse around the OS and get a feel for it. But soon after I know me and my best friend will both have our PS4's and jump on BF4 together probably playing all night long. Thankfully this comes out Friday.

I won't get to play the PS4 until about a week and half after launch....Im having it sent to my house instead of my college dorm so I will have to wait for Thanksgiving break.

I've decided to wait until tax day to get my PS4...should be plenty of time for Sony to get any issues fixed or any features I want added....for the most part.

Still waiting for MS to offer something on the Xbox One that makes me want to buy it.

I just played the Battlefield 3 campaign and beat it(for the trophies lolololol) yesterday and wow....its bad. I heard BF4 is worse and just as generic. I will be shocked if anyone buys it for campaign...

Ha, I think it'll be a lot better than that pile of **** in BF3 though. Looks like they really made an effort on it at least. Nearly every achievement/trophy is single player which for a multiplayer game strongly suggests that they really want you to try the single player. Tbh the few minutes we've seen of it is already by itself better than the entire BF3 campaign even if we can't interact at all! Although the best SP footage we've seem was from pcs at 4K so it won't look as good.

There's no reason why BF can't be at an absolute minimum as good as a CoD campaign.
