It is heavier. Its the first thing I noticed when I held it. To be exact, the DS3 weighs 6.77 ounces and the DS4 is 7.4 ounces

Definitely feels bigger/wider straightaway, which for me was a big plus. As for heavier I think so but this is going off memory from about a month ago and it could just be in my head. Sturdier for sure.

So I just went to Best Buy and saw that they were setting up the PS4 and I waited till they had it up and running and asked the store manager If I could check it out. They Didn't have any of the games I wanted so I checked out Knack and Fifa And I got to say both the games looked great. The DS4 felt much better and fits perfectly into your hands. The Demo for Knack was pretty long and surprisingly fun there was a huge crowd gathering around me while i was playing Knack and they were all impressed with the game and how it played. I seriously can't wait till this console gets here!!!

When I'm playing fighting games on DS3 my thumb often inadvertently hits two buttons at a time so if they're spaced a little further apart it could be good for me. I'll have to try it soon.

I had the PS4 pre-ordered and so now with launch getting much closer and bigger hype&buzz picking up I'm starting to feel like I'm missing out and kinda regret canceling but I decided to wait till at least early next year and use some of my tax return money,Maybe I'll be ready to trade in my OS3 by then too

I don't get why people cancelled their preorders. Why not just sell it? I bet you'd make at least $100 off of it

It honestly looked the same as current gen but the there was a lot more detail in the players and it looked really good

Talked to my friend the other day about when the PS4's will be arriving.. he's the manager of EB Games and said they honestly may not be in until the afternoon of the 14th..But whenever they arrive he'll shoot me a text (we work in the same mall) and I can come check 'em out before the midnight setup.

Sometimes Amazon will ship things a little early to maker sure I get it day one. I've had important things ship to me early before, it would be cool if it did! Though I have to wait till November 15th anyways because I want to go to Target to buy my games because of the 2 for 1 deal.

Most likely as was already said 2015. However there is one thing that may cause it to be earlier. Sony already said if MS drops their price point they will match it and do the same. So if the X1 starts really lagging in sales, they may drop the price down, and if that's the case Sony will continue to want to be slightly cheaper than them.

But for the most part I agree the first drop probably won't be until 2015.

I think it can be worth waiting on consoles if you're worried about hardware issues and waiting till everything's fixed but if you can afford one without too much problem and really want one, I don't think it's worth waiting just on price. Consoles don't depreciate anywhere near as quickly as games (where I definitely feel it's worth waiting a few months unless you really want a specific title).

I'm still not really thinking about it too much partly because I'm just a little less phased than I used to be by these things and partly because I'll still have THREE DAMN WEEKS TO GO TOMORROW.

Also I get it for a day then go to America for a week.

don't cancel, sell! If you really want one at launch, its risky to cancel your guaranteed system for one you may not get.


I went and put my PS4 preorder up on Craigslist for $650. Im gonna see if anyone responds to me at that price

I don't think anyone really knows to answer that clearly. It doesn't seem all that clear exactly what the situation is with the amount of HDD space some of disc games are taking up.

The games that I have that have this feature are on valve's steam os and one of them is marvel heroes which you down load from their site or steam. But it was mostly from the marvel heroes site down load itself. And one of the few others is team fortress which the latter is a disc based but it's somewhat different. Besides this fact, it's still fairly new and still being explored.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia announced they will bring PlayStation Vita TV to other Asia regions like Hong Kong and Singapore on January 16, 2014. This tiny console lets owners play PsOne, PSP, and select Vita games on a TV.

PS Vita TV has streaming media apps like Hulu Plus and Tsutaya TV in Japan. So far, no media apps have been announced for users outside Japan, but you can still play God Eater 2 on a big screen.

PlayStation Vita TV with 1GB of internal storage will retail for HK$798 ($103). Sony also has a value pack with a DualShock 3 and 8GB memory card for HK$1,180 ($152).​
