So I bought the Tomb Raider "definitive edition" today on a whim because I was just looking for some kind of adventure that wasn't similar to the last couple games I bought, Infamous or Assassin's Creed, and I'd never played a Tomb Raider game before. Holy crap, what a great game! I'm already addicted. The graphics are just soooo good, and I like the characterization a lot too. For some reason, based on the Tomb Raider movies, I expected Lara to be a much campier "badass chick" stereotype, but she's not like that at all in this game. It's suddenly occurring to me that maybe those movies didn't do the franchise justice at all, lol. I'm suddenly much more on board with the TR movie reboot if they try to make it closer in tone to this game.

Guy's I know this is sorta off topic but i need your help big time. I'm playing NBA 2k14 on PS4 and I'm trying to get cheats for free vc. So i look it up and everyone is saying that you type in the codes by going to features in the main menu then scroll down to "Locker codes" and then type in the cheat. Here's the problem, I have no such feature on my copy of 2K14. I've gone to the features option and no such thing as a locker codes option exists. Is there something wrong with my copy?

Maybe there is something you have to do to unlock it? It's highly unlikely that your copy is missing a menu option.

Maybe, but I don't think any of the other titles had such a radical departure with it's tone and gameplay and Laura herself. I may be wrong, though, I only followed the series here and there.

Legends did. They really revamped the gameplay and structure of the game with that title. It looked and felt noticeably different from those before. It was more than just a story reboot

No Legends like the new one was a complete reboot. Anniversary which followed was a remake of the first game

Does anyone else have this problem? Sometimes after watching a Blu-Ray the dashboard seems kind of laggy and there is some weird app running. It has no name and it has a question mark as the logo. You can see it when you are closing a game after playing. I always close it too because I don't know what it is. What could it be?

I googled. Vaguely remember it, but I still think the Square published one was a bigger departure overall.

I'm quite surprised how the new Tomb Raider had success on the PlayStation. After wading in mediocrity for years, the rise of Uncharted, and the reboot advertising with the Xbox brand, I kinda expected the game to disappoint in sales at least on the PlayStation 3. I pictured a situation like MLB2K, NASCAR, and Prototype where vastly superior first party PlayStation titles would have cancelled out the third party game.

Sooo, what's the general consensus on the PS4 here? I'm probably gonna have to cough up the money for one in time for Arkham Knight regardless but it'd be good to know what people (who actually own one) think.

Hardware wise, it's freaking awesome. The games library does need to build up a bit, but every console is like that during the near-launch period.

The system itself is fantastic! Fast and intuitive. PS Live is also very cool!

I love my PS4. I've never had an XBox, so I don't know how it compares, but this console and every game I've gotten for it so far has been a blast.

I really can't think of any issues I have with PS4 other than that the system itself collects fingerprints and dust like nobody's business.

Just watched the first Uncharted edited movie style. Was a great watch, must be an epic play. Will probably do the same for the rest of the series and The Last of Us.
