Trials Fusion is a great game. Yes, the Trials games can be difficult but in a fun/challenging way. I totally recommend it if that kind of game appeals to you.



Uhh, I'd say it's like a puzzle/adventure game, but really you are given task like "mow the lawn" or "win carnival prizes" and have to accomplish them with the unwieldy octopus controls. It's silly fun.

Installing the console? Yeah you just plug it in and go through the set up process, which ask you for your internet info almost immediately so the firmware downloads while you finish the setup process.

Yes. Textures are more crisp, draw distance is clearer, effects looks better, and both resolution/frame rate are higher (frame rate may depend on the game however).

BF4 definitely. It still has its share of bugs (mostly audio for me still), but the visuals are leaps above Ghosts and the multiplayer is huge.

Anyway, I decided to skip trials fusion in favor of Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. Very, very good game; haven't been able to put it down. It borrows heavily from the Uncharted series - the jungle environments, platforming, gunplay, etc... but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. The Uncharted series is among the best In the genre so what better game to build your own off of? Despite this, TR has enough to distinguish itself from Uncharted and other action games. If you haven't played it, I highly recommend it.

I just finished this game yesterday and it's my favorite thing I've played on the PS4 yet. Just so good. I've never played an Uncharted game so I don't know how it compares, but I've seen the cutscenes on YouTube and all I can say is I can't wait to see what the next Uncharted will look like on the PS4. But that's still a long time off, so imo, Tomb Raider is a fantastic game to tide people over 'til then. Honestly, I enjoyed the story/characters in that game so much I'm considering checking out Gail Simone's sequel comics just to get more.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I still haven't beaten It, but I will look into the comic once I finish.

How much exploration, puzzle-solving, and platforming is there in the new Tomb Raider? And is the platforming done in the auto-platforming style of Uncharted? I was under the impression that Tomb Raider was mostly a third-person shooter.

Lots of puzzle-solving, a decent amount of exploration (I spent lots of time running around the various forests/villages/etc looking for optional tombs to raid and other random bonuses) - it's not an open world game, but the world they drop you in still has a fair amount to explore. I'm not sure about your auto-platforming question as I'm not familiar with that term.

The platforming is automatic for the most part but it's a little sensitive at times causing you to inadvertently leap to places you didn't intend. Very much like Uncharted.

I wouldn't say there's lots of puzzling and exploration. IMO, that's the two areas where TR could have improved.

So guy streamed Amazinv spider-Man 2 on Live from Playstation today...I only caught one part but that one part made me happy.
