The PlayStation Network will be bitten by a radioactive crime drama series later this year; Powers, a live-action adaptation of the comic of the same name, will be available via the PSN starting in December, with the debut episode available for free. Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to view the entire series at no charge.

David Slade (Hannibal, Breaking Bad) will direct the first two episodes of the show, which focuses on detectives who investigate cases involving people with superhuman powers. The original comic, published by Image until 2004 and currently by Marvel, is written by Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy) and illustrated by Michael Avon Oeming (Judge Dredd, Catwoman).

I just found out destiny is online only.

I'm considering selling my Ps4 for $300, to then buy the destiny bundle, and then I'll sell destiny with the 30 day ps plus subscription for $70, because i really just want the white ps4.

is that a bad idea?

Nope. Neither is the PS3 unlike the Xbox 360. And thanks to people threatening to buy it after the Xbone's unveiling, the Xbox One is now also region free.

Only the Wii U and 3DS are region locked this generation.

Also, though no one cares, the PS Vita (and the PSP) are also region free.

Well, it seems like a lot of trouble just to get a white PS4.

I also question if you can sell Destiny for that much.

Personally, I am getting the white PS4, but I don't have a PS4 yet.

What is the price on the Destiny bundle? If you can do that and break even at least, go for it. If you're going to lose money, however, I would really put some thought into how much you care about the color of your console.

Destiny brand new would sell for 59.99. Though, you're probably not going to get that. Not really sure what the one month of PS Plus goes for.

Actually, I think 300 is pretty realistic for a used PS4 (I assume it's in decent condition). You can get it brand new for 350-360, if you know where to go.

I found a brand new one for as low 340 the other day (need to print coupons, though).

I would say sell it now, because white is coming, and some retailers are already dumping their black consoles. And by dumping, I mean selling them for 40 bucks less.

It is coming standalone. I have heard rumors that it will be the new standard. But... rumors. It is definitely coming standalone though.

Which means black will become passé, and we're already seeing that with the low prices. Though part of that is also the Xbone's recent price drop.

Well I'm assuming that in the box, Destiny's gonna be packaged up so it'll still be brand new. And I'm including the Ps Plus code, that's what's with the $70.

And no, hell no I'm not breaking even. I bought the Ps4 itself for $450 (bought it at a time when it was sold out everywhere and hard to find), and for selling it $150 cheaper than how much I bought it for, I'd easily be losing $80-$100 in the process just to get the white Ps4.

I heard that the White Edition might be available separately in the UK or Europe or something.

don't know about the US.

I doubt the white version will be the new standard, though.

I know but rumors start from a source. There was a rumor Tekken 6 was gonna come out on XBox 360, and it did. There was a rumor that Mass Effect 2 was gonna come out on Ps3 and it did. Where is the rumor source for the white Ps4 being the new standard?
