What is everyone's opinions on the F2P games so far,For ones I have..

Blacklight Retribution:At first it was very bug&glitchy but it was a beta,Full game has been updated and everything is much better now,You need to pay to use most unlocks..which sucks but the default stuff are fine too,Overall a decent FPS and especially if you're into COD.

DC Universe Online:Very awesome,I mostly play it just to glide around as my characters and check out other player's characters or do random small side quests like fight npc enemies/transfer stuff/save cops&civilians

Warframe:Some aspects are really cool but something about the game turns me off and makes me not want to play it for a while,Like I get bored or something and even feel like deleting the whole thing

The only one I play is War Thunder. It's pretty cool but has a horrible menu system.

Loud? Something is wrong then, that system is super quiet.

Same here. I bought mine at launch and the only problem I've ever had was in the first month I shut down an application(I think Netflix) and the system froze. That never happened again.

Is that game like Battlefield but in a WWII setting and you're always in vehicles?,Can I switch to different vehicles at anytime after dying like in BF or have to go to different modes in the main menu?

Yea it's an online flight/tank simulation title(altho they do offer more 'arcade' style controls/modes). No ya can't switch between the two during gameplay. You pick either tank or planes then you battle against other tanks or planes(they don't cross over).

I like it because it was developed by Gaijin who make awesome WWII flight sim games.

Alright thanks for the info, may download it tonight

I can't wait to learn more about deep down. I hope it really is a F2P.

I really hope we get a UI update soon, especially before the fall when the big games start coming out.

Warframe is the best f2P game right now, IMHO.. But it's a grind game and can get boring.. I had high hopes for War Thunder because I'm a WWII nut.. But it bores me to years. DCU is fun until you realize that to get any if the cool armor your more or less have to dedicate your life to it.

The only F2P game I have on my system now is Warframe. I doubt I keep it on there.

Then you aren't playing it right. Those 16v16 air battles can be crazy intense. Flying WOT straight at a group of enemies with your buddy as your wingman hoping you don't get cut down before you can even line up a shot is pretty intense and thats before you actually get to the enemies to start the dogfighting.

I like War Thunder also. I'm surprised by how much fun I have had with the game.

With that said I'm not as huge a fan of playing with tanks.

I forgot to download War Thunder last night but will later,I deleted Warframe,Was playing it after a while of not touching it was like meh

I know it's a really simple game but does anyone else like Reso Gun? It brought back memories of playing R Type but the only problem I had was not learning what the hell the sign or signal was for when a capture person was going to escape and needs to be rescued.

No. It's just boring. Much like world of Tanks was.

I couldn't get into it. Actually thought it was a bit overrated

It takes a few games to fully understand everything with Resogun but that it's pretty fun. I didn't know I had Boost until a few weeks later haha.

Fair enough.

Anyone remember the name of that zombie game that I think was F2P? It was a birds eye view type of game and you could upgrade your weapons. I ended up uninstalling the damn thing though. I got incredibly far and reached a part of the game that was bull **** and gave up. That game was also a really fun one, until that point that pissed me off at least.

Free-to-play results in unsatisfactory gaming experiences in general. It may take you a few days/weeks to realise it, but even with the best games, the realisation sinks in eventually.

Not exactly sure what you mean. I'm going to take a guess it's because the games tend to be really simplistic, which doesn't bother me. You have no idea how many times one of my friends and I played Smash TV back in the day.

I want to get one of the F2P pinball games the full cool dlc tables are expensive,There are a couple of Marvel and Star Wars packs that are awesome but each pack are like $5-$10

I have both and if you love pinball I recommend both. I forgot the names but one of them is all classic pinball machines throughout the decades and the other is the Marvel/Star Wars version. I bought most of those and I have to say the Infinity Gauntlet one can really piss me off sometimes. I don't know if it's my lack of skills or there is a slight delay in the game but it makes it a bit hard for me.

The problem with free-to-play is that in order to monetize the game, you have to give gamers a reason to pay for things. So in order to keep gamers playing, they actually have to PAY to play.

No you don't have to pay to play which is the point of the system. Stuff you pay for is additional content, but isn't necessary. Of course some companies are better at it than others but paying for stuff is optional.
