Yeah this is beyond trolling; these are virtual terrorist attacks...on software company execs? really?

Also, do the hacks realize that they're not alone on these planes? They're affecting other people -families - too with this BS?

Its no different when they bring the PSN down. Like the people most affected by it are us paying customers. I want to get on and play some online games and I cant because some tubby virgin decides he needs to "teach Sony a lesson". Like give me a damn break.

Haha ya know for a fanboy, you really suck and analyzing your chosen console. I don't know if its just because you are so deathly afraid of the PS4 "losing" the console war that you see things that aren't there, but I swear you are like the Sony fanboy version of chicken little. The PS4 isn't going to lose its lead over EA Access, the PS4 isn't going to lose its lead over the Halo Collection and its NOT going to lose its lead because some lonely nerds overloaded Sonys servers.

Calm down man, your precious PS4 won't drop its lead, not now, not this holiday, not ever.

Pat, I generally agree with everything here, but does it always have to be a fat dude. Fat people have girlfriends and lives too.

On the other hand, pretty pissed I got screwed from using PSN today, and XBL was being screwy as well. Hope they catch whoever did this.

Haha nah, you've admitted you're a fanboy, thats why I said that. Im not sure id personally classify you as a fanboy tho.

I still think you are too "panicky" when it comes to the PS4 though. Its got a sizable lead and historically, Sony has done better in territories outside of the States, where as MS, doesnt do as well. I don't think one server attack is gonna really change much.

Haha I agree completely man, but im gonna take a shot in the dark that a dude who spends a lot of time online "hacking" companies isn't going to be in the best of shape and probably isn't going to be the most socially competent person out there. Im 100% sure im right on the second part, the fat part, eh that could go any way, but as I said, I like my chances.

PSN seems to be fine now from what I can tell, and this whole thing didn't effect my Diablo III time at all.

Still always very dumb when these things happen. The people majorly inconvenienced by these attacks are the consumers, not the company.

Yea and they claim they are doing all this for us. Iv NEVER understood that thinking. The ONLY ppl attacking Sony are these types of morons. The ones who claim they're doing all of this for our benefit. Its clear their intention is just to annoy as many ppl as they can, regardless of what they claim.

I was having issues earlier, I couldnt get into any of my digital games, but I just tried MLB an hours or so ago and didnt have any issues.

its an inconvenience to the company bc they have to deal with the mess. They also have to deal with the bombardment of questions as well as complaints and bad press

Basically a hacker's goal is to make the company look bad or incompetent. Even if we know they did it, their thought is, "see, your precious company couldn't stop us, how safe will your own info be?"

They want attention and to feel like they have power. It's not that they couldn't use their skills to help people it's that most of the time they don't. Then of course there are the ones that use it for outright crime.

I have a feeling that the X1 won't start really picking up until something like Halo 5 drops. And even then, it may already be too late.

It was always too late, it was never going to outsell the ps4. Anyone who paid attention last gen would see that. Sony is just more popular in more markets. Simple as that. I do expect the gap to narrow, but the end of this gen will be like last, with Sony having the edge in units sold.
