I am sending two PS4's back to Amazon, and considering getting an Xbone.

Between that, and some of the other stories I've read looking for an answer to my problem... maybe I got off real easy with a funny sounding disc.

I realize that modern consoles are complex machines, but why does this thing have so many ****ing problems? Seriously, just read that forum.

Lol you must have not been listing to xbox 360 and xbox the had a million times more problems and really for about the first month sony had a lot of problems being talked about but after that hardly any.

I feel like that might but an annoying little weight on the wire, wouldn't it?

hmmmmm........don't think so.

I just hook up the USB end of the charging cable to the open end of the extension. then plug the extension into the PS4.

it just makes the cable longer.

honestly i don't care about the battery life, I mean the controllers charge during standby, just make sure to have it plugged in if its low and if its so low that it dies on you then just take a break from playing your game, you know

but yeah, i had 2 10 ft mini usb cables, i'll probly buy 2 pairs of these

I don't think the batter life is that big of a issue yet the DS3 had a much longer life but the DS4 Chagers in standby and a full charge is like 8 hours with the DS4 how often do you really play 8 hours starght without a brake?

But when a company like Amazon has to change it's return policy because your damn consoles are defective by the tens of thousands, you have serious problems.

And when you tell the fine people in Mumbai – who Sony pays to "help" their customers in America – that you have problems, they tell you to put a penny under your console, because it wobbles.

Or, you can send in your brand new console, that you just paid 399 for, and be sent a refurbished one, which you could have gotten for fifty bucks less.

So you would rather trust Microsoft who had 2 systems with much bigger issues then sony has ever had lol. I am socked that x1 hasn't had more problems so far has they are now to make unreliable system where sony is know for making very reliable systems.

Any system if you send it in you get a refurbish and what is this about amazon change its return police? I have never heard of any thing like that and I look at video game stuff ever where on the internet. I have not once heard that they changed the police outside of like 2 or 3 people on this form not once. Xbox has alrease been know has making unreable systems and sony has alrease been now has making reable systmes so you would rather trust the company that has had much more problems in Microsoft? I am shocked that X1 hasn't had more problems yet after both xbox and xbox 360.

Sony has had more issues this gen then they have had before when it comes to this kind of stuff has the yellow light of death thing on ps3 witch I did get was really wear. I now some people had some issues with the leans on ps2 going out but again that was pretty wear. I have alrease had bad like with tech really with ever thing. I have had 1 ps3 break on me, 2 game cubes and now a 3erd one trying to break on me and also for the day I got my wii I have had problems has when I turn it on I get no picture and I have to unlplugh the power and then turn it on almost ever time. I do remember when ps4 came out that there was a lot of talk about ps4 and amazon and about issues with the system and talk that some of the people may have messed the system up on prupes when the mad them to get back for not being pained while to bulid them or something but I have not heard of like any issues sences then and I ever heard about amazon changing the police because of it.

What problems are you having other than your Destiny disc? I mean I haven't had any problems with mine.

And let's be fair. Sony has sold 10 million units as of August 2014. Even if 50,000 units of the ten million sold have a defect that is half a percent of sold units. Half a single percent of units sold. Thats an acceptable fail rate in a launch console.

As aggravated as I am by the PS4's lack of media features it a far from a pinto.

Well, with my first console, when I put The Last of Us in, it sounded like a buzz saw. I've seen videos of PS4's like that on Youtube. It's quite something to hear it in your own room

With my second console, I had the same issue with the disc drive as the first, minus the buzz saw, and then loud fans.

I suppose it's acceptable failure rate, unless you're the poor son of a ***** who gets the bad units.

Also, apparently all PS4's wobble... which is kind of... strange. I was told to put a penny under it, since that sometimes helps with noisy disc drives. It didn't. But it did make me realize that I should probably wait for the PS4 Slim. Or whatever they'll call the next iteration.

I really wanted to like Killzone. I thought the premise was kind of interesting (even if it's just World War II in SPACE), and the designs look good, but it never really seemed like anything more than an "okay" FPS.

Halo, it simply isn't. Not even close.

Lol no I hate shooting games. But I love games like ratchet and clank and games like modnation racers on ps3 and that is much better then any thing that Microsoft has ever come out with. Most of the games I have are not excusive games but ever excusive I have ever cared about is either sony or Nintendo. I think sony is the best and that Nintendo is a great second system. The only reason I am gland Microsoft is around is that it gives sony compaction and compaction is alrease good.

You are missing out on too many good games. I agree Sony has the best exclusive titles, but mod nation racers and ratchet and clank sure as hell aren't part of em.

Though I will say that it wouldn't hurt Microsoft to diversify. It has become the "FPS console". And I like FPS, but some more variety would be nice.

I am told that standing it on its side causes heating problems, since it blocks one fan.

Maybe I just have really bad luck with these things.

They are pretty diverse. Ya got an FPS, racing sim, tactical TPS, RPG, terror action, don't know what the hell QB is and an over the top TPS. Again, i agree Sony has better titles as theres nothing on this list, IMO, that comes close to Uncharted, but theres some diversity in MS's recent and upcoming lineup.
