Sony’s SmartEyeglass Unveiled

Sony is taking on Google Glass and the Oculus Rift. The tech giant has unveiled the latest prototype of their wearable, augmented reality display called the SmartEyeglass. The company first announced that they were working on the device earlier thisyear, and like Google Glass, it’s basically a smartphone that your wear as a pair of glasses. It connects to compatible Sony smartphones, and provides real-time information about whatever you’re looking at. There’s also an accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, brightness sensor, and a microphone built in. The SmartEyeglass software development kit has already begun shipping out to third-party developers, which means they can start creating apps and games for the device. It’s expected to hit stores next year.

If it's like smart glass or the Rift it means it'll be linked to consoles some how. "Maybe"(I might be over thinking that'll be the case) but that's why I put it here.

great games and exclusives plus deals like the "free game deal" will be the things to boost the X1 in sales.

MS will need to be very aggressive this holiday season with its deals and promos.

I believe MS came out and said that the price cut was a limited time promo and only for the UK.

Yes, they didn't explicitly state it's a limited time, but the wording HIGHLY suggests it is. Even if they decide to keep that price, it still is only reduced in the UK, and my point remains.

not with animosity, but yeah she did. which got me thinkin that I either got reported by a norm, or that the mods/admins themselves have been keepin a close watch on me since the **** hit the fan. either way though it's not a good feeling being watched you know...

yeah, I got a "foul language" infraction a few years back, too. felt it was kind of unfair since it didn't seem to be anymore more "foul" than some of the other **** being posted there.

but, ah well. haven't got into trouble again since........lol.

and, like I said, you don't personally bother me. but, since you did get a mod/admin to respond to you and basically tell you to "tone it down," I think you should heed her advice.

well, in my case, I believe it was more an implied offhand/naughty joke, so it wasn't exactly a curse word.

a mod deleted the post first, but I didn't know why, so I made the mistake and reposted it again, and that's what got the infraction.

mods shouldn't be going around deleting **** without say in the first place. I had a problem with that way back when Asm2 came out, I made a thread one day that was popping and then the next day it was ****ing gone, without me being notified for anything whatsoever. not cool.
