After reading all of that I'm starting to warm up to this new actor and the sequel as well. Now I just need to see some photos or teaser to see the what the direction is going to look like.

I'm trying to push for that. I'm gonna need your help Lotis. If you saw my last message I sent via your site you know what I mean.

^ Yep WT...he's gone. So for those who can't get over it...that sucks for them. LOL Jane & the Punisher film from 04 didn't attract any kind of box office whatsoever which would have given him some more power with the studio. The reason it didn't make alot of money doesn't matter now. He's gone.

Stevenson is totally excited to play Frank, you can see that just by what he's saying. Lexi also seems quite excited to start filming with Ray and speaks very highly of him, so, that in itself is awesome.

Have you seen Rome? If not, buy/rent it and watch it before you start dismissing Ray as the Punisher. I have no doubt Marvel & Lionsgate have found the new and improved Frank Castle. It's time to get on board with the new Punisher movie or just pop in your 2004 Punisher dvd and stay in the past. By the way, the real fu_king Punisher doesn't quit, and Jane did. Marvel has stepped in and are making sure the Punisher finally lives up to his name. This project has turned around in the right direction fast and as long as they're working their a$$es off to bring us the best Punisher movie yet, I'll be supporting it.

I liked Thomas Jane's portrayal, and I think Ray Stevenson is capable of giving us everything Thomas Jane gave us but much meaner and more brutal.

You're right. He should definately watch the previous versions and take the best out of both and apply it to the new film.

I dont know about that, RS looks and acts the part well from what i have seen of him, but Jane just OWNED the role.

Dont get me wrong, i'll be giving Ray a chance, he is a fellow Northerner, so i honestly wish him ALL the best, but Jane was amazing and will be a tough act to follow.

Jane is just a very likeable guy in every role. He was solid as the Punisher but I don't think he owned it like some of you think...or he'd still be there. Snipes "owned Blade". How the hell can you top that? Harrison Ford owned Solo. Stallone owned Rambo and Rocky. Jane should be an A-List actor he's got too much talent and charisma not to be.
